The teachers are very good. The studio is roomy and bright. Staff are friendly. I love the workshop for taking care of our backs
I have only been to three classes in my life at Semperviva -- so my experience is limited. I find it crowded but still respectful. Would appreciate fewer people. The teacher today talked too much -- like ALL the TIME. But, we're all different and we can't all love every class.
Smaller classes with direct contact, instruction from teacher
Variety. Enthusiasm and depth.
Your instructors talk about mindfulness, attention to breathing etc. Yet, they talk throughout the class which makes this impossible.
The front receptionists are very friendly and helpful, the studio is clean and tidy as well as the washrooms. Most of the instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful.
Nice ambience
Friendly , specious, clean and excellent
Yoga teachers.
Location and views
it was too cold in the studio. especially for a yin class.
The teachers are incredible at what they do, the other staff are helpful and the facility is beautiful.
I like that the instructors don't get too complicated with the routine BUT they also give advanced options for those who can go or want to go further
A few minor recommendations:
- remove the 15 minute window for entering class after the start time out of respect to both the teacher and other practitioners.
- be careful not to excessively cool the studio between classes (side door at Kits beach often left open making studio cold).
- perhaps consider a level 1 / level 2 type distinction for classes (understandably has pros and cons, but seems do-able with four locations).
The instructors are great, there are many locations, the mats are provided and there is always a good atmosphere.
My favourite classes are Vinyasa Power Flow that last 1 hour and a half, at City, with my favourite teachers. I miss Yeva, but there's nothing you can do about motherhood. I like Jasmina's class also, but she does only one class a week. Also Sasha does only one class. On the positive side, I like Chantal and Clara. I also like the flexibility when we are late (never done on purpose), and can slip into a class that has begun.
The baby and mom yoga class is fantastic for new moms on mat leave but very hard to justify becoming a meme ber or the price when only one child friendly class
Is offered a week
Beautiful facility, lots of product, big space, elevated stage for teacher, nice staff and wonderful classes.
Location and size
Good yoga teachers.
The teachers: Gloria, Carolynne, Danny, Syma, Klay.
Classes are offered at different times throughout the day, making easier for me to attend.

great space

The physical space, the types of yoga offered and the wonderful support staff and teachers...so, pretty much everything.
I liked your location with wonderful view, your friendly and kind staff and the confidental props as well :)
The location is perfect and I've liked the teaching style there. They seem to stick with yoga and not try to make it something else.
I am a great fan of semperviva and without exaggeration, I can say I am 99% satisfied.
the teachers are excellent and varied, the staff are friendly and always helpful, the studios are clean and well supplied, the schedules are accommodating to all lifestyles.
what is there not to like?
the measly 1% that is missing resides in the fact that during this first year of my membership, I had several small but practical suggestions and not one was acted on.
I thought I was taking a hatha class and it felt like a flow class and now that I read the teacher's bio I see my mistake.. I really do not know how you differentiate hatha flow from Vinyasa flow. In my practice, I see Hatha as having the flow within the asana; each breath permitting you go deeper (flow). each asana containing at least 5 breaths and often many more. In Vinyasa flow, you have the flow between the asanas and each asana may only be held for one breath; rarely longer except for resting asanas.
the teachers. the sea studio location...everything, gloria
