Staff is welcoming and friendly. Massage rooms are inviting and provide the perfect atmosphere. There was absolutely no pressure or "sales techniques" to become a member - it was completely voluntary. Massage was great!

I asked my massage therapist three times for more pressure, but each time he just went back to light pressure. Because I was in one position for so long lying still, I ended up feeling more sore when I left than when I came in. His technique for massaging my back was strange, I haven't experienced that before. He worked the left side then the right and just went back and forth doing the same thing for about an hour. It was supposed to be a 90 minute massage (my first ever, I've always done 60 minutes in the past) as a treat to myself, but because I was feeling more sore on my back and the touch was so light I asked to end the massage early. I think it's possible that social skills aren't the strongest skill set for the therapist I had and I don't fault people for people who they are, but he really struggled to make eye contact and that was uncomfortable. His attire was baggy/ill fitting and just gave off a sloppy impression on behalf of LaVida. The receptionist asked why I ended early and I shared with her that the pressure was too light but didn't feel comfortable sharing the rest because I didn't want him to overhear/take it personally in the wrong way. I was charged for 60 minutes instead of 90. Honestly incredible waste of my time and money. I will go back to my usual of going to massage schools for massages because the communication with the therapist is much better.

Thourogh stretch but little feedback. Surprised it was recommended I wait 2 weeks for a revisit was anticipating more frequent therapies. When I asked for recommendations for stretching and excecizes at home, question was not answered. I am looking for a more involved routine.
William, thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your honesty. Massage therapists usually recommend 2 weeks in between sessions to allow for the body to recover. It may take a few sessions with your therapist to address the issue and find exercises that work for you. We would love to get you back on the books to make that possible!

Melinda, Ingrid, and Denise are wonderful. Melinda has helped me with my hip and back pain above my expectations. She has a great personality to go with it. Please tell her thank you and I missed her last week. Due to an out-of-town family emergency, I changed my appointment day and time. I was not pleased with the therapist I was changed to. They gave an okay massage but when they moved to my shoulders and head they breathed directly into my face.
The massage itself was good, the lady that worked with me was good. The facility is dirty and not appealing at all. I would not go back to this place. They also have a virtual screen to check in and out and that is very uncomfortable and it is hard to hear and understand. Not a great experience at all!
On time, very personalized to my issues, and my therapist was so personable and caring.
