Nathan, the service technician, was excellent! He was so nice, listened and explained what he found. I highly recommend him.
I would not recommend Standard Heating if they were the last HVAC company on the planet. I would advise people to chop wood and heat their home.
After purchasing what turned out to be a defective furnace in 2020 and having 127 lockout errors on my thermostat display which would shut down the furnace and lockout the ignition mode (43 of which I finally photographed as evidence) I called to complain 31 times. Most times I got no answer and received no return call.
I had 5 technicians come out and offer excuses regarding the errors. These excuses ranged from suggesting I move my thermostat to a different room, close 2 of the heat ducts to minimize heat flow in certain areas, change my filter every 2-3 weeks, not use auto mode on thermostat, etc.
This was a furnace replacement after a 26 year old furnace had rusted so, the only thing that changed was the furnace. Vents remained the same. Heat ducts remained the same. Air return ducts remained the same.
Finally, I had to involve the city inspector and threaten to file a complaint with the Attorney Generals consumer protection division as well as the Commerce Dept.'s Licensing division.
After 14 months Standard finally offered to replace the furnace and determined that it was defective.
To top this off, after the replacement was installed the furnace went out completely. No power at all.
I called a service technician from Xcel Energy to repair and he determined that the electrical connection on the power switch had been shorting on the electrical receptacle because it was not installed correctly and eventually came off causing the power failure.
So, I would not recommend Standard Heating even to my enemy.
I know this sounds impossible but believe me. I have photos along with names and statements of employees.
I wish I had never heard of Standard Heating.
The work was done well and very quickly! Nothing negative to say.
Ease of scheduling. Knowledgeable and efficient technicians.
My brother was a very long employee of Standard. He has retired but still trusts their expertise. I feel Standard takes care of me with every call and problem.

There has been something wrong with evry single interaction I've had since before you installed my heat pump system through now. I don't even think the last repair is working, l haven't been able to call yet due to the weekend. I regret my decision to choose your company.
Well it seems since we had a ( Brand new ) furnace put in every winter we have had have service come out because we weren't getting no heat and just last week we had to call again for a new chip borad already.
For what we paid it's been unsatisfied!!
