It was a very surface clean. The floors under my furniture we not cleaned and the shelves that had things on them were not dusted.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

To start off with I don't want to do business with anyone that lies. They went to my father's house and were there for one hour, at best. When I called to complain about the fact that they wanted to charge me $280 for a "deep" clean, they said that was the charge for two hours. Apparently the two women that cleaned my father's home, told them they were there for two hours. My father called me when they showed up and when they left, as he too was in disbelief that they were there for such a short amount of time. There was no "deep" clean done there. They did the bathroom and kitchen... keep in mind that both rooms equal the size of one room, as the entire house is only 798 sq. feet. They vacuumed an washed one floor. i asked about dusting the living room and they told me it would be another 50 dollars? i have my own cleaners and have been very happy with them for years.... i pay less than half for service and my ladies are at my house for at least 3 hours.. and i only have a 900 sq foot house. Unfortunately, my people couldn't put my dad on their schedule as they were too busy, but when i go to look again for my Dad, it will not be with Merry Maids.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

Very expensive and cleanings are not consistent. I deal with the office in Hingham with the exception of Melissa very unprofessional. I wish I didn't sign a contract, now I'm stuck with this horrible service. In good consciousness I could not recommend Merry Maids to anyone! I should have researched the company. People I talk to have nothing great to say. I extremely disappointed.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

-deep cleaning was not deep at all - didn't even mop floors
-some items on cleaning checklist are not done regularly
-kitchen counters are wipes, but caked on crud still left there
-don't move toaster oven to clean under it
-mop kitchen floors, but don't scrub them so marks and stuck on food still stuck there

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

The first time I hired your service, two people came and quickly cleaned my apartment but it wasn’t a true deep clean. Dog hair was still prevalent and when I did the “finger check” for dusting, there were multiple areas that weren’t even touched. Also, I had to leave early so I left them the key to my apartment and they left my key in the front door which is extremely dangerous for me and my family. The second time I hired you, you sent one person who did her best, but she obviously had another job because by the end she quickly cleaned my apartment without even vacuuming my room. If she did vacuum, it’s a week vacuum because my kitchen and living area were poorly done as well. She was starving and we gave her lunch so we could tell she was being overworked. We specifically asked for blinds and appliances and while she did her best, it was too much to ask for one person to complete this task.

House is always very clean and the products leave a clean aroma. Always enjoy Nancy coming through our door. She does her job throughly and we still have time for a chat. She is a great person, and an asset to your company.

I like when I get a call telling me when they will arrive, they show up when they say they will.
When Nancy arrives she goes right to work and does a complete cleaning of the house I am always pleased the house is spotless when she leaves. Living alone and never cleaned a house it is a comfort to me when people visit I have a nicely cleaned home. Don't know much about the products used but the house smells great when done, very happy Nancy is the person that comes every time as she knows the house and i don't have any worries. Pleased with this service.

The first "deep" cleaning was very disappointing......stairs not vacuumed, toilets barely cleaned, not scrubbed, quick mop on the hardwoods floor with visually dirt left. The floor & toilet redo was much better but I can't really judge/recommend until I have a full successful cleaning (hopefully today!)

What could we do to improve?

There are some employees who do a much better job than others - we have been fortunate to have Colleen the last few times and she is awesome. Prior to her cleaning the house I would have given a much lower score.

Work was not complete. Sales rep Nicole Boyd agreed and offered to send someone out again but I had already completed the work. When signing the contract she told me there was a plus or minus on the contracted amount depending on the work needed. There was not a lot of work and the 2 girls were out in 2 hours. I called Nicole and told her because I had finished the work myself she should just minus $50. She refused and I believe that stating there is a plus or minus is just a sales tactic. Specially when she agreed the work was not acceptable.

I love to people. Like Vicki. She is the best to clean my bathroom and the rest of the house. And she sprays my house with good smells. At the end. We love all of you .

My one time clean was not completed as order the first time around. The second crew who did the re-clean was excellent. Nicole in the sales office was efficient and did a good job to ensure that I was satisfied and refunded for any work that was not completed.

I like the cleanliness smell when I walk in the door. I also very much like the porous product used in the bathtub (prevents slipping).

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

When they were sweeping up the basement, somehow they cleaned around the boiler (which I did not ask for) and they turned off a switch I did not know about and I was left with no hot water. I had to call the Boiler Company to fix it.
