What could we do to improve?

Try to give a better cleaning for the high rates you charge. I should not be finding dust or food stains on my stove after a cleaning that expensive.

The Merry Maids are prompt, courteous,friendly and do a very good job. And the reminder call the day before is great!

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

I was disappointed with my initial "deep cleaning", as they didn't clean or dust obvious areas very well and seemed to totally ignore areas between or behind many objects. I pointed out a dirty ring on my nightstand that hadn't been cleaned and was told that the stain was permanent, as he used his all-purpose cleaner and couldn't get it up. As soon as they left, I got a sponge, put some warm water and cleaner on it, and the stain was gone in less than ten seconds of scrubbing. They didn't spend nearly as much time as was predicted by the company, and although I hoped it was because they were efficient, it was because they did a very superficial cleaning, especially in the living room/bedroom. The kitchen and bathroom seemed more thoroughly taken care of, but the stove wasn't touched. Overall, I simply couldn't tell that the apartment had been cleaned. I expected a professional cleaning to be better than what I could do on my own. During the second cleaning, however, the team really got behind and between books, picture frames, DVDs, etc, and thoroughly cleaned all surfaces; when they left, there was a difference in how the apartment looked. I would just hope that future cleanings are done just as thoroughly, if not more thoroughly.

i have complete trust in your representatives in my home. i am always delighted when i return home to find my home smelling fresh and clean. i am so very thankful for your services!

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

If possible I'd like my Sales Rep to pay a visit to discuss my feedback. I don't normally complain about things and as I've stated before that maybe I'm expecting more out of your services. I don't know how anyone can completely clean a kitchen or bathroom in just 15 minutes. My kitchen floor was not cleaned thoroughly and they seem to clean around things. Nothing get moved.

What could we do to improve?

For the most part you do a great job -- always come when scheduled, very reliable, no problems with the people in my home. However there are always small thing that go wrong and for what you charge, I can't give you a higher score. I do recognize I could always have you back, but that's a hassle and usually I just take care of the small problems myself.

What do you like about our services and the products used in your home?

I find Merry Maids to be attentive to my needs and flexible when needed to my schedule. In addition, I have come to appreciate Nancy, the person who takes such good care of me and my home. Her attention to detail does not go unnoticed by me. She washes the kitchen floor on her hands and knees and makes sure to wipe the back spash underneath the counters, which is very impressive. I truly appreciate the excellent job she does and her attention to detail. Thank you Merry Maids.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

Although sometimes the cleanings are thorough, other times they haven't been. I have 2 small kids and three cats, so I can definitely tell when an area has been neglected! Last week when the baseboards and corners were the supposed "area of focus" there was still fur and crumbs all over the living room. It was very frustrating to look forward to the cleaning and then to have to vacuum as soon as I got in. Also, I am having a hard time getting the cleaning crew here at the time that I've requested, which is problematic since my kids need to nap.

I do not feel that the service has been as good as it us to be in the past. Most of the time when I get home I find a LOT of missed areas. The mirrors are washed but have streaks, etc.

What could we do to improve?

Leaving the 'Welcome Home' letter consistently so that I may see what has been done when Merry Maids has completed their service. I only get that letter when Kevin comes to service my home.
Adding the 'Additional Tasks' that I have requested (customize the list) be done to the service list for my home (ie: wiping down cabinet faces in kitchen).

upstairs toilet was left dirty. 1/2 bath floor tacky, I needed to call worker back into the house to clean walls and baseboard. Walls still have stains them.

It has been over a week since our first cleaning and I am still discovering little extras that the ladies did in our home. My stove burners were scrubbed clean! LOVE IT!

Even after I complained about the floors not being swept under the beds, and a supervisor agreed to follow up at the next cleaning, there was still dust/dirt under the beds.
We will not be using MM next season.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

For $110 I expected better cleaning. We were really impressed by the first cleaning but I paid $200 for that. For a 2 bedroom apartment in Quincy it shouldn't be that expensive. We've dropped back to bi-monthly now since it doesn't seem worth it. We may drop all together depending on how it goes on the new schedule.

Everything shines after the ladies leave and for many days there after. Somehow when I do it myself I don't get the same effect.
