Been very informative about what has been happening with gym memberships. Been working hard to help us work out from home using the app with videos from Tameside active staff. Received lots of communication and updates that were all relevant and outlined everything perfectly about returning. I went for my first gym session on Monday since lockdown and going again! the booking system is really helpful with getting to go and helps motivates you to get back because you know what time you have to be there and easy to work around a schedule. Just want to say massive thanks and well done!

Good covid 19 practices.
The app is excellent. It’s user friendly, easy to navigate and crystal clear. It’s not always super clear whether you need to pay for a class or not as it shows a £ figure next to some activities but my membership covers everything so I presume I don’t actually have to pay.
The staff when I’ve been for a swim have been very attentive, friendly, and clear in their instructions.

after lockdown. Very well organised. Fell
safe even went back for my Yoga class next day. Hat’s off to the staff for their hard work.
I recommend to everyone to use the fesility.
I have been exercising at Ashton Active since 2016 and love it. I like the very enthusiastic instructors like Jade Smith and the yoga ladies. Today I have met the Stretch instructor and she is adorable. They know their stuff too! I can not forget the very helpful front desk ladies, they are awesome.
Great idea to hold the zumba class in the sports hall. It meant that a full capacity class was available while maintaining social distancing plus it was great to be back meeting zumba friends. Lisa did an amazing job and gave us all a good workout. Thank you active tameside
I like that we have been kept informed about the current situation of covid 19 via email and facebook.also all the online classes and information that has been offered to use to Improvise for closure of gyms etc .its been good how they have frozen memberships and reduced future payments until all facilities are in place to be able to use safely and have kindly wavered august as a good will gesture to regular members.once open you were made to feel safe and there was a member of staff to explain new procedures in place.The staff are all working hard ensuring the building is sanitised and disinfected on a regular basis .I felt at ease and felt safer .there than when I go shopping to ashton .The new online booking system did have a.few teething problems which you expect when systems are tryed for the first time,however active ashton replied to messages and queries you had very promptly.They resolved any issues that were occurring when they updated the booking system .So glad to be back!! I'd like to give a huge "THANKYOU" to everyone at Active Ashton for all the preparation put in place to prepare for re-opening and a big thanks to Marie who I know has been a constant help trying to resolve any queries and keeping contact with most members via messenger

I like the building and the outlook. It is OK to use with all the precautions you are taking so I feel happy to go there.
I have been very impressed overall with the measures taken since opening with cleaning and distancing. So it was a shame after so much effort, that when I was leaving yesterday I had to walk through a large of group of people packed into the doorway, so maybe measures for classes need improving to prevent the rest of us having to mingle with so many of them. But well done, apart from that everything else is excellent.
Great atmosphere
From a customer service and professionalism perspective, Hyde Active have been fantastic in terms of dealing with communicating with members after the lockdown.
Since returning to the gym, all of the staff have been enthusiastic and helpful.

I thought the swim session on Monday was very well organised. Well done especially to Marie who should be promoted as she is so good at her job. Good to see all the cleaning going on but I think this should have happened before Covid 19 as the baths and showers have not been kept in the best condition. But well done to all the staff.
The gym has a good accessible layout. I like that it smaller than other gyms - you don’t feel exposed to everyone as you carry out your exercise regime.
Staff are there if you need them. They are always friendly and helpful.

I have been swimming at Copley twice this week and couldn't be happier with the facilities and the measures in place at the moment. All the staff were extremely helpful. Couldn't recommend it enough

Really good service from all the staff, always someone available and managing the current social distancing situation really well.
Copley is set out really good and the fact COVID 19 is causing issues we have been updated well throughout. One point is sauna and Steam room information is not very clear on what the next steps or stages are and this is one of my big parts of my training
Active Copley is a fab local gym where everybody feels welcome. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and so are the people that attend!
