Student Testimonials
The awesome variety of classes, class times, and amazing teachers. Cleanliness of studios and locker room. I love my Point Loma CorePower studio!
Great experience with my partner I really liked how the instructor did most of the class with us because they/he knew that it was my first time.
Instructors are very good and I like the variety of classes available.
It was a great Restore class.
Thank you.
Angels HPF is great!
Great HPF class, perfect temp, flow and insight from Allan.
Many available times to choose from
I was visiting Point Loma from Minneapolis, where I practice regularly at CPY (Eden Prarie and Minnetonka) Took a wonderful class let be Adam, what a great instructor. It’s so nice to have such a great experience at another Corepower studio.
Scott is the best teacher
Kristen was fantastic at helping me with a gift card issue, and Beth's class was great as always.
Awesome!!
I always have a rewarding experience at CorePower.
The teachers are awesome - I always have the best workout. The studio is always very clean!
The instructors energy and motivation.
I love everything about CorePower. The teachers, yogis, all the classes, the vibe. I love working out with them.
Trying to retain a list of the best hot teachers is very important and not always easy, so stoked to add Clif!
Brittany’s class was challenging, great music and overall a fun class.
The staff is extremely positive and friendly
Great studio. But the men’s locker room was lacking a bench to sit on when changing.
I really like the little things that some of the teachers do. I always look forward to Allen’s classes and David‘s classes because they provide a little extra things like towels and little stones etc. we love Eva so much and her integration of Qi Gong techniques in class.
I really wish that there was more HPF classes in the morning. I suffer from arthritis and the yoga sculpt classes are simply not for me. I like a good EasyFlow first thing in the morning and the fact that there are mostly only yoga, sculpt or C2 classes at the 6 AM time slot is a bummer for me. If there were more HPF classes early in the morning, I would be really happy about that even if the heat wasn’t all the way up.
I had a great experience at the Point Loma location. I’m from out of town and will be moving to South Scottsdale in for sure sign up with core power yoga.
I love the diversity and options offered at Corepower. I recommend Corepower to people who are curious about and want to give yoga a try and I recommend it to people who have been practicing for years. I love the fact that I can go to a class any time of day and that there are many locations available to practice.
The teacher was great.
Great staff and atmosphere
Challenging classes
Clean attentive great teachers big studios
Hi,
Alexa was great but I think she was a little new so wanted to share feedback.
When she was actually doing the positions alongside us, the verbal queues were delayed, which impacts the breath to movement. For example, we would be in a pose and then she would say exhale..... then move into the next pose then say "release" or whatever (at which point the breath had been exhaled already since there was a several second delay). Instead of exhale and release it was exhale............. release.
I imagine it's super hard to move, remember everything, give verbal instructions, so I totally get it. It was just a small thing that did at times make the flow less flowy :) It would be better to give the verbal queue directly following the breath and before demoing the pose.
She also ran a little long and announced time was up right as we got into savasana. She did say we can stay in, but it was a little jarring.
This location is the largest I’ve been to, with 3 studios inside. Classes are never too full and there’s always a large variety of classes available. Instructors are well educated and the facility is always clean
Clean, consistent and always very friendly
The flexibility of class schedules and places and the fact that I can go to any, anywhere there is a Core Power Yoga.
What could be better? Maybe shift a few classes to start either 15 or 30 minutes. Sometimes, a studio with two classes and both start at 0900… as an example. There aren’t many classes at 07:00, 0730, for example, during the week.
It’s challenging to get there at 0600…
Thank you.
Most teachers are welcoming and encouraging of modifications required for different skill levels
