The new trailer was not detailed.. had to clean it when we got home (interior) finding an exorbitant amount of issues. Not sure if a PDI was even done.
The walk-through through the RV to introduce us to the vehicle is good but only informs you of the big features of the RV. It would be good to provide more details on components that you can’t see (such as the water pump). It would be good to be provided of a schematic that pertains to my exact model. The national company website only provides a more generic one and user manual which apply to several sub models. It’s not always evident what features are included in your model.
Service manager, Dave was excellent.
James is Very helpful
We have been using Alpin Haus for 5 years now and never disappointed with the sales team or the service team. They are all great to work with!
When we purchased our Tailgator, we were told by our salesman that the warrantee forever was amazing and covered literally everything...even the screws if needed....that was a flat out lie!!! We have done the yearly inspection as required and are sadly disappointed to discover that no pressure was applied to our water pump, which would have shown a gasket problem at the time, was never performed!??! We had to bring the camper back...over an hour one way...to have that fixed and to have the kitchen faucet tightened and be told that the 2 screws that hold the faucet in place from the factory were missing, but, that they did not have 2 screws at your facility to properly fix the faucet. Really? So we were charged for faucet fix that will most likely not hold for long!??! What a joke you are, and a major disappointment!
Appreciate their willingness to hold RV on their lot and temporarily suspend warranty until I recover from surgery.
You took care of our issue right away and communicated well through texting. Only negative is it was difficult to get ahold of the service department initially. We used the email process or voicemail (I forget which) that said someone would get back to us within 24 hrs. That didn’t happen and I had to call and follow up. After that things went smoothly.
Small toes feel and friendly. Honestly
The products are good quality. Everyone we worked with was amazing, especially Mike, Dennis, and Chris. Everything was explained thoroughly. Owning our first travel trailer, we feel confident using everything with all of the information we were given. We really love the forever warranty.
The salesperson, Steve Quinn, was easy to work with and John, the person who did the orientation to my travel trailer, was extraordinarily patient and extremely knowledgeable. A good experience.
Things went Very Well .Matt the Tech took great care of us with our not so well Built Montana to Repair the bedroom slide that was not DONE Correctly at the Factory .Very Pleased it working now. Please unit was brand New in November .
The phone always goes to voicemail in the service dept. - Never receive a call back in the same day
Will in service continues to provide prompt attention to any issues, and the service center team was thorough in diagnosing the problem, and they worked to ensure I had our camper back in time for our trip.
We had a list of items we wanted to have taken care of on our fifth wheel... some were minor, cleaning the roof, siding and interior, installing a new toilet and inverter. They didn't complete everything we asked to have done. They replaced the toilet with an elongated toilet, which we specifically asked for a round one. They had our camper well over a month, which most of the time it was just sitting on their lot. When we finally went to pick it up, the slides all of a sudden wouldn't open, so we had to leave it..they said it was the inverter, but really was it as we never had a problem until they worked on it. They charged our credit card without even consulting us and insuring everything was completed to our satisfaction... Terrible service..seems no one knows what is being done. When we called to get status, seldom returned our calls. We wouldn't go back for service, would never purchase an RV from them, and would not recommend anyone to purchase an RV there or go for service...
Good follow and status updates from the service department
I bought my camper in may, sold on how good your service was? 26 bays, etc. you had our camper for 2 weeks after our first camping trip and there were numerous things that needed fixing. You literally fixed one of the problems and left us with no tv. No outside refrigerator, an un sealed shower top. Windows that are very difficult to open, drawers that don’t close correctly, outside tv hookup that doesn’t work. Door that doesn’t lock from the inside. Shall I go on?
Great service. Convenient drop off, pick up, and payment.
On schedule service.
Service department
The products sold are pretty high quality compared to others I seen. Service is about par to other dealers I've had experience with.
Our service man did a great job and was very professional.
Every time we have had our RV serviced at Alpin Haus the service people are professional, all the work done in a timely matter. The service department is why we would buy from Alpin Haus again
I had an issue with the Forever Warranty being inactive, you investigated and the issue is in the process of being resolved with the Forever Warranty status active.
I was pleased to have my repairs completed under the warranty claim. The only issue I had was communications. I arrived at 8am to have the repairs done and was given an estimate of 2 hours. At 10am I went to the service area and was told it was going to take longer. At noon I went back to service and was told it would not be completed today, could I leave the unit there.
If someone had told me at 10am that it was going to take longer I would have called my wife and got a ride back to Albany much sooner. I was right in the building, someone could have called or paged me.
Simple process, clear explanation of details in sale. No last minute surprises.
Have had some issues with figuring things out with our camper. However when ever we had a question or problem it was quickly answered. We have called our sales person many times and received prompt answers.
Service is always very thorough and easy to work with when we bring in our RV.
I was disappointed and angry that I was charged $506 for an installation of a power jack that I supplied. I believe I was charge extra for labor beyond what should have been. My understanding is they put a jack in from the store then had to remove once they found out I had mine in the camper. So once in beyond any fault of mine the jack was wired wrong, so more time beyond our fault. Quoted highest $420 (verbal) I wasn’t even expecting that being I had the jack already. Bottom line is I wasn’t expecting the charges of the install, didn’t think it would cost almost $200 for the small replacement pipe of the water pipe. The camper was there 2 days as well. Normal price of your install on your board is $388.+ so there for labor for jack should have been only approx around $125 (difference) estimated. So $175 + $125 =$300 + the minor charges of light but not asked for. Yea you gave me a tank of propane to make it right, but that was like 1/2 full. I should have been called on the day of the actual appointment to be updated what was going on.

One of the better experiences I've had with Alpin Haus and getting work done on my camper.
