My last haircut was embarrassing. I have long hair on top and short hair on the sides. Similar to a Viking hairstyle. I grow out my hair every year and then donate to Wigs for Kids. I asked to leave the length on top and cut the sides at a medium style fade every time I get a haircut. The lady that cut my hair failed to move my hair out of the way when she got close to the top and cut into my long hair. When I brought up the issue I was pulling out globs of hair that she cut, mistakenly. She proceeded to tell me that it was typical shedding at first. As I pulled out more and more hair, I advised her that there was no way I shed this much. She then proceeded to say that other stylists were just better at hiding it when they cut my longer hair. I told her that other stylists move the hair out of the way and pin it to the other side to avoid such mistakes. She never once apologized. She only used clippers to cut my hair and I gave her a hair tie in which she put my hair up into a loose bob. I’ve never had a haircut that I was unsatisfied with until then. I was embarrassed not only of the haircut but also of the fact that she blamed other things instead of taking responsibility for her mistake and offering to make it right. I was then charged a full haircut even though a military discount was always applied. I just wanted to get out of there as fast as I could. I’m glad I had my hat with me and now my hairline is uneven and I have less good hair to donate later on. I’m pretty disappointed and probably won’t return to Sportsclips in the future. I’ve always taken pride in my hair and this situation could’ve been avoided with simple due diligence from the stylists.
I’d suggest retraining or training on the care of clients hair and needs.

Adelina did a fantastic job on my nephew and my haircut. I’ve been going there for the last few years, and so happy to see her smiling face every time I come back from the north. Hope to see you in the fall when I return. Highly recommend any one looking for a cut and style.
Kim is excellent, so much so that my friend is flying in from VA to have Kim cut her hair.
