The music! “Band” in school was so boring for me as a kid- the variety of music my kids are exposed to through SOR is exciting and engaging to them. Staff is so friendly and musicians themselves which is inspiring to my kids :)
Our son has gone from no drums experience to knowing how to play drums with confidence. He loves playing and imagines it will be a lifelong love. School of Rock Cleveland West has given instruction in a way that supported and strengthened our son’s self motivation. They made learning to play drums a joy. I’m very grateful.

Love the instructors/teachers at Highland Heights. Everyone has been so welcoming. Great attitude. The precious GM was amazing, and she did a great job communicating. Louie has been just as great and we look forward to continuing.
Im daughter has been in school of rock since june of 2021
The instructors are wonderful and great with kids. It’s amazing that they are exposed to having gigs at venues in Cleveland. They make learning so much fun.
We love School of Rock because music is taught in a fun way. Our daughter looks forward to singing lessons and Rock 101 practices every time she goes. The new techniques she learns in each lesson become noticeable when she applies them to her every day singing. We enjoy the significant improvements in our daughter’s voice skills often.
In the ‘Rookies’ program, our daughter is learning about music and appreciating different genres in a really fun environment. She looks forward to it every week and comes home with great new info and experiences to share.
Ten semesters in, I continue to love the Grad School program at School of Rock Westlake! I've made so many new friendships, and it's a blast to come in and have fun playing music together each week. It provides a great creative outlet and a change of pace, plus a chance to learn new skills. My lessons in vocals, bass, and keyboards have all been incredibly valuable. At this point School of Rock has become a key part of my lifestyle! : )

School Of Rock has really helped my daughter build confidence. She absolutely loves her keyboard teacher. I’m so happy we found program like this where my daughter flourishes and has an opportunity to do what she loves most.
They foster the creativity of the pupil. The knowledgeable and capable staff not only provide valuable information on how to play an instrument they encourage and facilitate one's individual creativity in everyday applications. I can only speak for myself, but I have rapidly grown as a musician since I have been taking lessons here. I am actually a more productive, creative, versatile musician because of it. I would say if you're on the fence about taking lessons, give it a shot for a few weeks and see what happens, either way you'll be better off creatively.
The teachers are fully engaged and administrators are very responsive.

I love that the music is accessible at all levels of experience, and they can progress to more challenging parts as they learn more about their instruments. My kid actually likes to practice her music. Except scales. I have to make her do scales.
The staff is phenomenal, she loves her instructors and the directors for her last several shows have been above-and-beyond amazing. They really care about the kids, and I appreciate how understanding they are in this "age of COVID".
I can't believe SoR has been able to continue these programs with all of the disruptions from COVID and I appreciate the commitment to keeping all the kids/staff as safe as possible. We are grateful this outlet has been possible over the past two years, when other activities are canceled or just unsafe.

Love the group music practices and performances. They create a social component to learning music rather keeping kids isolated from other musicians as they train. Also, every adult who has interacted with my child has been warm, friendly and supportive, which creates an environment we want to keep coming back to.
My son had his first experience performing in a live venue with School of Rock. He loved it and had a lot of fun! The staff at SOR is very encouraging and supportive!

How passionate and encouraging the instructors are. My kiddo has become more confident and loves both her individual instruction as well as the performance element.
The instructors are fun, positive and encouraging. They are also flexible and work with students in a way that will be best for them. The opportunity to play in a band with like-minded students is a great way to fulfill the need to play music.
