Song-based learning, the instructors, and the band program
Instruction is great and the shows are so much fun for the kids. We love Josh and Louie!
I love that when they start, they jump right in with the live show being the goal right away. This method of individual lessons combined with playing with others changes the lens of learning. Instead of focusing on how well or not so well they do individually, they see what they contribute to a group. This has been such a positive experience and I could not be any happier with the results (both musically and the boost in self-confidence I see in my kid). Not only is he learning to play music but he’s also learning to love it.

Our daughter started in Rookies and then progressed to drum lessons and Rock 101. We can’t say enough about the instructors, directors, and management. She is learning, having a lot of fun, and always comes out smiling and excited about her lessons and rehearsals. The communication tools are great, she gets follow up notes from each lesson and rehearsal about what she did and what is coming up. And, the instructors put new things into terms she understands and can implement right away to play a song, along with helping her learn to read music. She is learning to work together with the band through rehearsals and performances.

My instructor, Ayana, understood that I had no musical ability to start with and has educated me, listened and responded to my many queries, made it fun in the process, and gave me confidence to perform. She also had the game-changing idea for the "nerdy CPA" to develop an alter ego.

It was a very positive environment for the kids to learn and be themselves. It is very well run and the professionals are so great at encouraging the kids and they bring so much enthusiasm. My son has had an awesome experience!
The staff is good with the kids. The kids learn a lot. Love that everyone is kind to each other there. Older kids are good roll models for the younger kids. This school has become much more organized and better run.
