There are several things about SOR that we enjoy. The instructors at SOR San Diego are the best anywhere. We still feel that SOR is committed to high quality musicianship and creating a community of like-minded creative kids. we really value the environment and exposure of our son to a diverse group of kids who share a common interest in music.

Very excited about the performance group as it is great to have this organized by adults. Previous attempts at teenagers coordinating garage bands doesn't seem to work.

It's a great program for my son. He thrives off of being around and interacting with other kids so the opportunity to play music in a band setting at his age is amazing. Not to mention he loves music in general so the private lessons are great as well. The teachers and music being taught has really inspired him and we've really seen him grow in the short time that he's been there.

The teachers are incredible! The idea of teaching music by playing music motivates my child like nothing else. Also, the teachers are actual musicians playing in bands. We love SoR!

Excellent instructor who demonstrates exceptional patience with our daughter who is a novice drummer.
We have been involved in the school of Rock program for many many years. This is, by far, the best way for kids to really learn how to play an instrument and play within a group.

Teachers are solid
The quality of instruction is second to none. The atmosphere that the owners and staff create is one of support and encouragement, not competition. The season shows are held at amazing venues. Their support of the Rock School Scholarship Fund is admirable and appreciated.
The ability for kids to learn, rehearse and perform music with other aspiring musicians in a controlled environment with instruction is hard to beat!
