Proximity to my house and the new weights. I must let you know that lately, I have noticed that the front desk staff just sit and keep going over their phones and not looking up to say hi and not refilling the paper towels. That is not good, some of us sweat a lot and don’t want our sweat dripping all over the floor.

I really love the Hatha Yoga class! I like the instructor's narrative about yoga philosophy, the meditation elements, and overall tone.
Cleanliness, friendly staff, location, pool
The 24/7 schedule - so helpful for getting in an early morning workout before the rest of my busy days. Also, cleanliness of ladies locker room, showers/changing rooms. Trainer Maddie is wonderful too!!

A women’s area for workout. The gym is clean and well maintained.
I have only used the pool for water aerobics. Very pleased with these classes. The time is convenient, and all instructors are great! The pool temperature is usually very comfortable.
Friendly staff. ALWAYS willing to guide and help you while in the gym. It is a large, clean, and well equipped facility. Second to none. The only improvement is they need to turn up the sauna from its current 145 degree temp to 180 which is minimum heat standard for saunas. They dont have a water bucket in the sauna, as most public saunas do. This would allow to maintain normal temperature with the heavy use it gets with door opening so much. It is a misconception that water on the heating element is a health hazard or a detriment to the unit.
Powerhouse gym West Bloomfield is a well- run facility that could warrant even more monthly dues but keeps this gem affordable for most.

It is clean and each person is encouraged to do their share and whipe down machine that has been used with tissues that are readily available.
