From the ticket purchase, to the concessions and seating, the Santikos Mayan Palace experience is very streamlined, and convenient. Every time I step into the theater, I can feel relaxed knowing the line to the concessions is never long, and whatever I choose it’ll taste awesome! Look forward to my next movie experience.

I love the friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the location. I also enjoy the food and beverage selection. Casa Blanca is closer to me however I prefer the Mayan!

I always love Santikos Mayan (only the Mayan in San AntonioTx). I love it because the employees seem to be from the area and part of the culture of that predominantly Hispanic community (doesnt mean that they are all Hispanic). This means that the elderly, down to the Little ones, are treated with the respect and loving banter as if they (the employees) were talking or helping their own abuelita (grandmother), Tia (auntie) and parents. The theater is always clean, and so is the self-serve drink area and bar. Unlike other theaters (even Santikos), whose employees (young people) treat the patrons with the same respect they show their own parents, too...cold. They are not friendly, understanding of the indecision, slowness, etc of their elders (as opposed to the Mayan, where they understand and are happy to help and be patient and joke around because they themselves already are close to their own elders and treat them with love and respect and dignity). Employees at other theaters act like it is just another job and go on to the next person, without that personal touch. This is what makes the Mayan so unique. They treat each customer like their own family.
