Mayan has reclining seats! Didn’t realize that Silverado 16 didn’t have it until we took kids and they didn’t like it at 16 because seats didn’t recline. No more Silverado 16 were sticking to Mayan!!

It is one of my all time favorite movie theatres to go to. I've been going to the mayan theatre since it was called century south theatre. I like the enviroment and the spacious seats in the movie rooms.

My wife and I love to go to the movies at the Mayan Theatre. Friendly staff, clean facility, great seats and crowd management. Concession stand food is a bit expensive, but we enjoy your pop corn and nachos quite often.

The seats
My experience with staff and establishment is always great. I do wish there would be a policy where children under 2 were not admitted into showings. I spent the last movie listening to an infant cry, yell, babble and jump from 1 seat to another for the entire movie. The parent refused to take the child out and it was very frustrating. Anyone knows that a child under the age of 2 is NOT going to sit quietly through a 90 min +movie.
