Friendly staff and they are always around for questions or issues.
The fitness center is very crowded during the week (after work hours) It is difficult to plan workout routines due to equipment availability on crowded days. The weekends do have better equipment availability.
Very close to home, friendly staff and gym is kept pretty clean

I use only the gym floor and locker room so I’ll confine my comments to those areas.
The roof has leaked for many years. Even though we’re told Genesis spent multi-millions on the renovation, the roof still leaks. That should have been the very first thing taken care of. Can the problem really be this difficult to fix?
The club remodel brought us lots of machines but not a space comfortably large enough to accommodate them.
The gym is massively crowded when I was used to going (10:00am) even though I’ve started going later to try to avoid it, and I’m sure it just as, if not more, crowded in the evening. There have been many days where new arrivals have to drive around and around the parking lot many times to try to find an empty parking space. So it’s crowded inside and outside.
Not having an elevator to the 2nd floor area is a big, big problem for many members.
It would seem when the company was thinking of remodeling, they should have shared their vision with current members and invited some helpful input. If that had been done, I think the outcome would have been better.
As for the locker room…why are the benches perpetually missing. I’m guessing they must be breaking in some way. I was told Genesis was going first class with the remodel. Hummm! Maybe not so much on the benches!!

Gym is great, staff is great, equipment is great. I only wish you opened a little earlier than 5am.

Expand your hours. I work at 6am every day and prefer to start my day at the gym. Can’t squeeze one in at 5 and still have time to get halfway across town. “We can’t find people to work early/late hours.” Raise your starting pay, guarantee folks will be lining up. “We can’t afford that.” Massive chain of gyms can’t afford to pay their employees well? Ok buddy, let’s crack those books and take a look at your executive pay. GTFOH with that.
^Same thing goes for getting equipment fixed. Three or four major machines have now been out of commission for weeks, going on months. Seriously. Ridiculous.
Other than that, place is really nice! Staff is the highlight — they rock. Friendly and knowledgeable. It’s a big, clean gym with an abundance of the necessities so you’re rarely waiting around. Love that. Just make some very easy improvements and I’d bump that to a 10.
The amenities are always out of service, or the equipment is broken. The facility does not keep up with the preventive maintenance on things. Also the teenagers that work there are using foul language when they are around each other. Im just glad I have one more month in my membership. I know this will go no further then to the gym and in return nothing will be done.

It's not a huge deal, but maybe have a cooler of water in the upstairs area around the spin bikes and track? And then one where the elliptical machines are? Otherwise, I like the club over there. I primarily use the ellipticals and the handball courts.
The inside pool chlorine has been way too strong this week and the temperature has been much cooler. Also not nearly enough hair dryers in the women’s locker room. Have asked about getting more but nothing happens. We only have 2 and 1 of those is a piece of crap so basically only one dryer for all to use. Need at least 4 in there.

Friendly staff, welcoming environment, convenient hours and location, and it has the necessary equipment for you to achieve your fitness goals.
Machines are broken for so long, cleaning materials are not sufficient- the spray does nothing. Would like more classes.
I know remodels take time, but no bathrooms (not even one) for months on end is not acceptable. Guys may be okay with port-a-john but women are NOT. Especially with nowhere to wash your hands - it’s completely unsanitary.
The hallway in front of the locker rooms is narrow. I am absolutely shocked that you’d make it 1/2 tile and 1/2 carpet. This presents a trip hazard and a choke-point as men DO NOT move over and like to take the whole walkway.
I greatly appreciate the investment in remodeling, I hope it comes together well. I also hope the classrooms are more private, as I refused to take yoga/Zumba classes before since you were in an open room with guys jogging by all the time. Looking forward to the grand reopening.
Add pickleball!!!!!! You have an unused parking lot behind the building
I have been a member off and on for over a decade (probably more). I feel like the bathrooms, showers, steam room, etc., at least the men's, hasn't been taken care of for that long. The club is nicer than this. The bathrooms are a real disappointment and need to be updated/fixed. And the towels could be a little larger as well.

I'd like to see the fans come back in the cardio space (by the treadmills, bikes and ellipticals). That air gets incredibly stale and not having the fans makes it even worse.
ready for pool remodel to be complete at Racquet club. Disppointed indoor pool won't be renovated. Would like to lower monthly bill.
I see no value add with the acquisition of OneLife to Genesis. The classes are a mess and not consistent. The TVs in the spin room just got fixed and some instructors don't even know how to use them as they have been out so long.
The gate is always on the mend.
Give up on the gimmicks like the raffle and the points and get a mobile app.
What are you guys doing? Machines out for weeks at a time.
