I like some of the classes and trainers. The facilities are often is disrepair (sinks they don't work, etc). From conversations I overhear, there is more effort put into opening/buying more facilities than maintaining the ones they have.
I love the club and the people that work there. The Kids Club is great! It does feel fairly run down and like updates and new equipment would go a far way. Machines are broken, women's locker room is very old and needs renovations. Everything just seems very old and used up.
A good place to work out
Don’t allow your workers to take selfies in the bathroom.
On Sunday’s, allow your workers to change TVs to football. (I’ve been told management doesn’t allow TVs to be changed. Very weird as this was never a problem when it was OneLife owned)
Clean more. There used to always be someone cleaning. I never see that anymore. Nooks and crannies of dust and build up.
Do something different so that your work staff stays. Rarely do I ever see the same person working here after 2 months. That’s a management issue.
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I appreciate for you guys keeping the equipments clean and organized.
Sometimes there are amenities that patrons enjoy that aren’t kept up with. I understand life happens, machines/things break or break down, however I wonder if more can be done on the preventative maintenance side to help alleviate and lessen some of those down times. Best example I can give is when the steam room is down for what feels like a month (probably closer to 1-2 weeks).
It’s a great club and I enjoy being a member. A discount for first responders/first responder couples would be appreciated too.
Everything. Staff is so nice. The club is nice
When I first signed up the gym was 24hrs everyday now it closes early Friday an Saturdays witch was the main days I went at night an in the last week haven't been able to use the hot tube once because it was down its Oct.9th today other than that gym is pretty chill
Staff & improving the quality of life .
What motivates me to come to Genesis is the morning NIA class.
Kelly is an amazing teacher and I feel so good after the class.
I also like the tables and chairs in the lounge for visiting with other people.
I go to an exercise class for seniors 3x week and really enjoy it. Both instructors who share the class are excellent.
I like the fact that the Gym it’s open all time at any time. People it’s friendly and welcoming!
It is near where I live. Plenty of equipment. My only complaint is that it doesn't open until 7 am on the weekend. I'm typically in before 5 am on weekdays. It would be great if the gym opened at 5 or 6 am on the weekend.
It’s typically clean and not crowed.
However maintenance in the following areas is needed. Things like the floor around the men’s urinal always seem to be dirty, the men’s swimsuit water extractor doesn’t always work and one of the shower doors makes a popping noise whenever the door it’s being closed.
There needs to be anti slip mats in place in the shower rooms around the pool walk ways and in front of the sauna several people have slipped and fallen I’ve told workers several times the tile floors are dangerous and slick no one does anything
Ran out of towels, dumbells always gone(busy) and bathroom smelled like pee. Service and cleanliness has slipped last two to three months.
Security in parking lot; lots of break ins in cars lately.
Everyone is friendly

This gym is the exact same as it was when I belonged in 2012. Forget the sink in the women’s locker room that’s been out of order for 10 months. I had to get on 4 treadmills the other day to get one to work. There also is not nearly enough weights. Ditch half the cardio machines that don’t work (or put them in the cycling room that’s never used) and get more squat racks and areas for deadlifting, etc. Your trainers also need to learn some gym etiquette. They’re always lifting without shoes - this isn’t a powerlifting gym, get some converse or lifting shoes. No one else does it. And they take plates from your rack while you’re using it. Who does that?? At least ask and don’t make me go find my own 10s because you were too lazy.
Multiple cardio machines out of service for months. Clock by ab section is set on military time and off by 12 hours.
I have not received my 3 free personally training sessions and the original person I met with was more interested in his own benefits as opposed to mine.
You can correct the matter by telling me how to get these 3 training sessions.
I like that we can work out with good and clean equipment who is the steam room with working
It’s near to where I live, it’s not very busy, it has all the machines I care to use, the steam room is good whenever it’s not broken
A little more room for weights. At 5/6 pm it’s impossible to get a machine
I feel Genesis cares about it"s members.
I think consistency on the amenities. I feel like they are often broken or not clean. Could use a locker update, but i do think its more affordable than lifetime.
The weight room equipment looks shabby and breaks down. The roof is leaking. The toilets in the womens restroom run continuously. It is hard to find PVC pipes that I used to stretch with. It is hard to find disinfect spray.
Cleaner facitlity
