I would consider one of my dogs, Dori as a special needs dog. She is a rescue and because of it has some personality flaws that prohibit her from trusting other dogs and people. She has come a long way and made great progress making friends and opening up. The staff has made great strides in order to make sure she's comfortable. If I recall correctly, the first time Dori was there, she was too timid to go out to play time so one of the staff members played with her one on one. It means a lot that the staff understands that she's not aggressive or too shy. She just needs a little security. Both of my dogs have been going to the resort for the last three years and that helps too. It's become familiar to them both, their own little vacation. Every time I pick them up I'm greeted with comments like "no, we don't want them to leave yet!" and "Zoe is such a good dog and Dori is really coming out of her shell!"

That it was climate controlled and there was someone there 24/7.
24 hour video , text update on play time, staff did not seem to mind my calling every 5 minutes!

well, my pets always seem to come back happy. This is the 3rd dog I have boarded there and I have never had any issues or complaints. The people at the desk are always friendly and helpful and seem to genuinely like working with animals.

The staff knows Yaz and geniunely seem to care about him. They are always very friendly when I drop off and pick up.
I like the environment of the lobby area. The staff has been good and happy to see us. Max LOVES to come. He is exhausted when we get him so we get a day at home to unpack and get organized without having to feel bad we need to ignore him, he just lies around.
We always feel very comfortable leaving our dog, Nigel, in the hands of the staff at Lakeshore Resort. He always seems excited when we arrive and the staff always remembers him and treats him and us beyond kindly, they have a lot of passion for caring for dogs. It never feels as if we are dropping our dog off with someone who simply has a job to do. The attitudes of the people there make all the difference in the world!

Kara was calm when I picked her up. I think she got lots of attention and that was calming to her.
Boarding. Smaller more quiet surroundings for Sydney. Staff always friendly and helpful. Kenner good size seems clean. Webcam so I can see Sydney occasionally
The live video feed. It's very comforting to know that even though your away from your family member you can still see them to make sure there doing ok.
