The inspector was thorough, professional, he listened to all my concerns and explained everything in great detail. If there was anything I didn't understand he was very patient with me and explained further.

On a home that you inspected - the whole house was filled with mold including the attic which you look and was missed totally
I know you did have a moisture meter and this most likely would have show all the excess moisture behind the walls

The are dependable (show up when they say they will), knowledgeable (are able to find, detect and evaluate many different problems not commonly known by the general public), calm (do not get the buyers and/or agents unnecessarily upset) and well spoken (report the facts in a manner that is understood by all). I never use any other inspection company.

Love how I was not able to be there to sit in person and find out the results. But the inspection results was done so in depth that I feel super comfortable that I will have all major and minor concerns acknowledged prior to moving in.

Amerispec was my recommedation for busy out of town clients who could not coordinate various facets of inspection.
The inspection seemed to go wrong from the outset. Random bad things...inspector (who was very nice!) was late & buyer had to leave before he arrived. She planned to meet with him at the end, but because he started late, he finished late as well & she couldn't delay to meet for the summary.
Buyers requested termite inspection & letter. This inspection didn't happen in a timely way, and when we discovered that it either hadn't been ordered by Amerispec, or if it was ordered, there was no follow up. Buyer called your company to follow up and your customer service rep was abrasive & rude to THE BUYER! MY CLIENT! Several calls, emails, etc plus coordination on my part with Arrow just barely accomplished getting the info during our due diligence period.
Then although I had asked for the Dekalb plumbiing cert. it apparently was sent to my client and not me. (Out of town client had no idea what that was without an explanation from me.) I had to ask again.
You asked for my opinion... I thought I was recommending the Cadillac of home inspection services and just wow. Certainly not the white glove treatment that I want for my clients and I am sorry to see that your company has declined to this level. Name removed Keller Williams Realty
The inspector was thorough and friendly, pointing out everything I would need to know as I go into the home purchase. The inspection report was also very descriptive and informational. The report was clear and helpful in negotiating further with the seller.
