Thorough and informational

Just had the audit completed on Friday August 18th. I was quite impressed with Les Carr - very knowledgeable and courteous. He explained in detail what he was going to do and throughout the audit he provided details and findings. He said his final report would be ready in the next week or two and he would gladly explain the contents of his report. I had a similar audit performed on a house I owned several years ago that was suppose to be R2000 constructed and I found what Les was doing was much more detailed and thorough. I await the final report and the recommendations to make my house more energy efficient. So far it has been a pleasant experience for me.

I love Steve Hufford as a person, but after taking a break and trying other inspectors, I tried again on Friday and he seemed irritated by his job. I had a picky client who asked a ton of questions, but that's what a buyer wants to be able to do during their home inspection, right? I would like this critique to be candid as I really like Steve, but I can't imagine choosing him again, and I thought you should know. I hope this private commentary is helpful and of course I'd never post anything online. Thank you.

Thank you again for taking the time to review our company and your candor. I truly do appreciate the commentary. Steve has worked for my family for over 28 years and is our most requested inspector. I am assuming he must of been having a bad day however that is no excuse. You are 100% correct that buyers are supposed to ask questions and Steve shouldn't have gotten irritated. I can also see you not wanting to use him again. Your business and satisfaction is very important to me. Is there something I could to help this situation? THOROUGH, we backed out of the deal thanks to AmeriSpec! Some may think this is bad, no this is really good. You can never see what's under the hood without a professional. 90% of the issues you couldn't see so again THANKS Amerispec, best $450.00 we ever spent!!
