My estimate was 2-3 times higher than average price for the square feet needed. Going with more reasonable estimate.
I made it clear that I wanted and estimate ( getting several before deciding). He wanted me to make a decision after he verbally quoted me estimates for two types of fence. He got quiet and I asked him why was he just staring at me, His comment after I said “ok” to the estimate was “most people make a decision “ as if something was wrong with me. I responded well I guess I am different because I like to read the actual paperwork comparing the 2 quotes he provided then comparing those to others.

I still have not received the quote that I requested ....it has been weeks now. first impressions ....this is bad

The project manager was very patient and made all the details clear. The company is able to
give us the exact type of doors and storm doors we want.
The first representative mislead and never provided a estimate or call back. When I called to address my concern at the lack of communication. I was offered another appointment for that following Saturday and no one ever called or arrived.
The end product is worth having it done.

Truly unbelievable - 3 weeks and I'm still waiting for an estimate from site visit on 6/20/22. finally got a text on7/8/22, but that doesn't help me - need a professional, emailed estimate. I've called your company countless times to ask for estimate, have texted the person who came out to do the estimate, asked to speak to a manager - WHAT!!

Pricing compared to comps was way off target. Appreciate your company's estimate pricing, but will decline working with your company at this time.

Your reviews in the BBB and Yelp were poor and very concerning.
Your contract with the non disparaging clause, was a red flag that you do inconsistent work. that you do not want your customers to give accurate negative reviews, was a big reason to use other contractors, that did nor have that as part of their contract.
Finally, you wanted over 90% of your price quote paid before any work was even begun.
Those were the 3 major reasons for not using you.
The price was extremely unreasonable. All I wanted was to paint 6 shutters and a front door. There's no way that should cost $3,000. I didn't ask for the whole house to be painted
We weren't expecting such a high price for a front door.
