The service was excellent. I would recommend it for elderly patients in need of a helping hand, and companionship.
you were very professional and handled my mom with care and patience during her "crisis". You didn't let me down...thanks again!!
The companions are genuine and caring. The management is very efficient. No matter who I talk to they all are knowledgelable and efficient.
Great team.
The reason I would recommend Nurse Next Door is they treat your loved one with respect and compassion. I found that even though my husbands wishes may have been outside of some others beliefs, they were still respected fully. This allowed my husband the comfort to be home as long as possible, giving the children time with their father.
We appreciated the all help and care received for my mother Terry Moir during late March and April 2010. Mum was doing fairly well up until June 27th and then passed away very unexpectedly and suddenly from septicemia at U of A hospital on June 28th. Had Mum lived longer, I would have requested your help again with extra additional care services to supplement her long term care.
Could I request a detailed receipt for care services paid in full during 2010? Please mail to my attention.
Many thanks, Jenny d'Obrenan
I think you have been kept well informed of the on going issues Amanda. Most NND responses have been reactive rather than proactive. I have had to really be persistent to improve on the initial care and on going care that mom receives. No effort has been made to suggest ways in which First name removed's care can be enhanced - activities/routines that NND could and should identify that could provide variety and stimulation for First name removed - very little creativity in her care plan. A care plan should not be static. Ongoing supervision and monitoring feedback on the companion and care plan is lacking. In terms of developing a "relationship" I think the companion does an excellent job but there is much more to the job than having just a positive relationship.
I haven't experienced the services first hand so these comments relate only to the initial interview time frame.
1. Company vision and mission is correct
2. Interview personnel top notch

Knowing that our family member was going to have one on one interaction and that the people comming in would take her out and ensure that she did receive her meal tray while in hospital. It provided great peace of mind and I will highly recommend your service!
