People are always great here!
I boarded my pup at this location for 11 days while I was on a trip, and every single time I logged into the camera, I saw her being humped by another dog. An attendant was visibly on the floor but not paying attention. I called several times and was gaslit, told the issue was taken care of—even though I was watching it happen live on the camera feed. This was extremely disappointing and a big red flag for me.
Since then, I’ve heard from other dog owners about their pets being attacked at this daycare. I’ve had good experiences at other locations, which makes my disappointment with the Pearl District location even greater. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this one.
It would be great if you could at least have a small outside area where dogs can pee and poop, so that they do not start thinking that it's okay to do their business indoors and then do it at home. You also need to develop a system where we can get feedback from you at the time that we pick up our dogs. There is never any feedback aside from the very superficial "oh they were great," which is sometimes obviously coming from someone who didn't really know. They were never able to tell me if my dogs pooped at any time. They couldn't even tell me if my dogs got the spa treatment that I requested! In most other daycare, they give you feedback (sometimes fondly called a report card) about how your dogs did.
The staff is warm and welcoming and my Golden Retriever is always excited to stay at Dogtopia.
Convenient and the staff is soooo friendly and helpful
VERY considerate to me as the pet parent and loving to my fur baby. First time we had to kennel and we were anxious. The staff made sure special meals & meds we brought were properly labeled and placed on his chart/file. They sent me text messages throughout his 3 day stay and there's an app which allows you to view play areas. We were very happy and appreciative that our little guy was given extra love and attention on his first away from home stay.
Have already & will continue to recommended Dogtopia to family and friends...couldn't ask for better.
We love all the services at Dogtopia, Daycare, Spa, Boarding. The staff is all friendly and attentive to all animals and their owners. They have lots of activities going on for them to do. I 💯 recommend Dogtopia to all my friends and family.

Better webcams! Consistent staffing
Based upon my observation, I noticed a decrease in staffing. If this is the case, I am confident that you are working to increase staff. The staff that you do have, work
exceptionally hard providing quality caring for our family members. I understand the challenges associated with finding and keeping good people. I hope that your current employees are truly compensated for their efforts and dedication to ensuring Dogtopia continues the highest standard of care that has been demonstrated in the past.

More transparent w pricing. Meaning put it in writing. Remember the bath if ordered. It was forgotten and casually mentioned. They forgot and my puppy was dirty from three days w other dogs.

5. (GOOD) It doesn’t smell stank in every corner of the waiting lobby, it actually smells good. At least to me! If I was a dog attending Dogtopia at Crestview, I’d be stoked and privileged!
1. (BAD) The prices really hurt my chest! What REALLY got my chest throbbing was seeing $100+ for unlimited-weekly and that had me on the floor in literal pain squeezing the carpet with all my might. I’ll riot! I would. I really would! But I understand why the prices are the way they are though. You guys seem to do High quality work and it’s super appreciated it and therefore, I applaud you, Dogtopia. Thank you! Also plz lower the prices if you can see it in your hearts to do so.
2.(EHH…) Sometimes the cameras go out on me outta no wheres. Can’t see my little one play with others anymore ): I assume this is bed time or maybe a technical issue with the Nest.

The folks at Dogtopia take good care of our dog and do it with joy and smiles on their faces. Our Cooperis excited to see them when we bring him in.

I was immediately impressed with the knowlege and safety precautions in place! Dogtopia has created a fun, SAFE place for dogs to socialize and play. The enthusiasm of every staff member was amazing!

Webcams weren’t working and staff knew about that but didn’t tell me prior to or at dropoff. Also didn’t receive any feedback at pickup.
We are relatively new to Dogtopia - having gone 3 times. When bringing our dog in the people working there are always very welcoming and friendly. Lucy seems to enjoy her time there.
Friendly, happy, and accessible. Windows and webcams help you feel part of your dogs experience. Happy mingling.

The webcams have not been working for weeks. When we asked staff about it three or four weeks ago, they said there was an issue with the internet connection.
It has still not been resolved and the webcam feature is one of the top reasons we chose Dogtopia.
Otherwise we do really like the staff at the Canton, MD location.
