It is conveniently located, the instructors are professional, kind, dependable, and enjoy teaching classes - they are health-minded people who are fit, too! I have found classes that I like and am able to do them in person or virtually. The staff listens and makes positive change based on member feedback.
My wife Maria and I are so happy to be members of the Lafayette YMCA! The entire facility is amazing, and the employees are the best. I work out on the machine weights and do my cardio on the treadmill, and my wife enjoys several Zumba and Shine dance fitness classes, as well as High fitness. This location is always neat and tidy, and bathrooms are always clean; the pool is equally well maintained.
We have been members for a little over a year now, and we always will be!

The instructors are very encouraging. There are several types of group exercise classes to choose from. I mostly participate in group classes. Having an outdoor pool in summer and covered pool in winter is nice. I usually do lap swimming.
It is close to where I live. The front desk people are welcoming and helpful. It has classes, machines and a pool that I want to go to. I appreciated the 2 class intro to pilates that was free for members

The facility is always kept clean and the staff are great.
It has a lot!! Great kids programs, pool, courts, ice rink, classes, new weights and workout equipment. It is a complete gym with great people, which are the most important part.

I like the convenience of where they are located and the services provided at the Lafayette Y. I enjoy walking on the track and having a cup of coffee after that. My wife also walks and works out in the weight room. The one suggestion I would make, is to put a public anonymous donation box in the lobby. Occasionally I would like to drop $5 or $10 in it, but don't like sitting at the desk filling out the paperwork.

The summer camps and facilities are great. We love having access to a pool and an ice rink.
