Lovely facility
The Lafayette YMCA is both busy and relaxing at the same time. It is easy to get to, park, and exercise. It serves a diverse range of ages and activities. It can be noisy at times, but it's a good happy noise.

Very professional and welcoming
Exercise classes including Pilates Reformer, Barre Fit, Mat Pilates Fusion and Body Pump. All of the instructors are great and the participants are friendly.
Variety of workout new equipment. Not crowded. Indoor walk path and outdoor swimming pool are great!

I enjoy the YMCA due to the proximity to my home, the cost effectiveness of the dues (so many classes for the monthly fee!), the wonderful instructors that I've had the pleasure of working out with, the sense of community and camaraderie I feel with other members through classes, and I value the fundamental mission of the YMCA.
We use both the Mapleton and Lafayette ymca facilities. However when doing weight training we enjoy using Lafayette’s newer equipment and spacious floor.

During the school year it's a great place for drop in Pickleball. I'm currently attending one class a week, Monday 8:15 Les Mills Body Pump. I'm enjoying it and plan to start more classes after I resolve some medical issues. Everyone is nice and very helpful. I have also just finished a Pickleball Class at the Boulder Y. I like that more than on Y is an option.
Clean good equipment
I like the welcoming feeling as soon as yiu walk in. From the front area, to the welcome hellos from the staff to the clean and spaciois locker rooms
Since retiring, the Y has become a convenient, helpful and friendly place to participate in classes that keep me moving and remain as active as possible.
