I like that there is an emphasis on sportsmanship and learning the game with your peers. I also like that these program are coed as well and the Saturday game/practice model really helps when you are a working parent. I also like that there is NO tolerance for yelling, name calling and bad behavior-we need to keep stressing this.
It can be a challenge when your coach decides to vanish and not participate. I feel that we need a little more guidance (as parents) when this happens and we don't know what to do next to keep the team going.
I like the ease of it being one day a week, the kids have fun and it’s not super competitive so they can try it out

Focus on skills and teamwork
My daughter loves the volleyball and she's still not quite old enough for her school team. So this program is great because she gets to play as well as it is wonderful practice for when she does make her school team. Thank you

This program is amazing. My child loves it every week. She has learned to be a leader and a part of a team and her confidence has improved. Her volleyball skills have also improved tremendously.

I like that the i9 program is focused more on sportsmanship, learning the game and having fun. I’ve always been apprehensive to let my daughter join a team sport as she has a very “everybody is a winner” mentality and I never wanted to change that about her by putting her in an aggressively competitive environment. When I decided on i9 I thought it would be a great start for her to learn the foundational skills of soccer. Her second game into the season she got a medal for congratulating the other team for making a goal in her net while she was goalie. And her being rewarded and encouraged for her natural compassionate attitude was the most heart warming thing to see. I will absolutely keep her in the i9 organization as long as she wants to stay.
