That they are available during the weekend. It makes it a little more manageable for working parents that may not have the flexibility to get the child to the sport after school when their work conflicts with the times they need to arrive. Having the weekend options for games and practice is what makes it so accommodating.
I9 sports is great!
We really liked the Saturday league we did over the summer. The Sunday league doesnt have enough kids for even two teams. we won’t be doing another Sunday league at Tolleson park. The coaches never tried to pitch to the kids at all, although last season it was pitch first then tee if they couldn’t hit it. My son didn’t enjoy it as much this time because it was so different from last season’s baseball.
The kids are having fun and my son is very excited about being on a baseball team with his friends.
Good resources for coaches. Kids get to learn about teamwork. Pretty well organized and makes it easy for families.
The kids learn the foundations of the sport, the skills required to be able to do the port successfully. All in an environment of Support, without any pressure from parents or coaches.
My favorite thing is that practices are the same days as games, so we aren’t spending 1/2 our week with extracurriculars. We get a life, and he gets to have fun!
I also love that the league is more laid back, meaning the kids just get to play and have fun. I don’t feel the pressure to perform or win, like other leagues push. It’s what sports was MEANT to be at this age…fun.
Finally, I love the weekly texts we get for reminders of the game info.
Love that it’s all in the same day and a very manageable time of day, and duration. Also love the awards each week, someone everyone is recognized throughout the season, they learn to appreciate their teammates and not “win” every week. We’ve had a great experience-thank you!

Having practice and game set on same day and time. Program is very light and fun. Something the kids can have fun doing without being too serious.
I like that there is not just a sports aspect, but also that they incorporate good qualities to help kids learn to be good people.
For a beginner I like that the practice and the game are on the same day.
Out of your control, but thos is the send season (soccer and now volleyball? That we have had to miss 1-2 weeks because of a scheduling conflictbor facility updates and had to make it up. It ruins the momentum that we were building. And play 2 games in 1 day with no practice is not helpful. This is my daughters first time playing volleyball and so having practice helps her learn the fundamentals.
