Volleyball

Coach? Freaking fantastic! The overall vibe is more serious than standard recreation, but if and when parent help is requested due to being short a coach for the day, everyone jumps in. The refs are fantastic, the facilities are clean, and the kids are genuinely HAPPY! What’s perfect is practice and game is in the same day so there’s a huge ability for kids to make it rather than have mass absences. A huge thank you. Our first year and won’t be our last.

Ronnie Belza! He has been such a wonderful light in our child’s journey and is so incredibly kind to all the kids and families. We are always so grateful for his thoughtful communication and how he warmly steps in to help whenever other coaches are away.

As a family new to organized sports, we felt a bit nervous at first, but the welcoming, relaxed atmosphere focused on the love of the game has been so heartening. Since toddlers can find structure a bit tricky, this gentle approach really put our minds at ease.

Ron and his family are simply amazing, and we feel so lucky to have had this experience!

Very personable with hands on interactions with children and families. Also the integrity of staff in sharing their skills, respect for time management and knowledge of the sport and lastly making the experience fun. My child looks forward to coming each weekend to learn a new skill set.

The coaching staff is patient and encouraging. The are great at directing the kids to help cultivate the love of the sport. They also are open to helping parents work with them outside of practice and games.

They are affordable and easy access. Close to home and low commitment. It’s an easy way for kids to try out different sports for a shorter period of time to see what they like. More about learning the sport and team building than being overly competitive.

The coaches are very nice and patient, I really appreciate it since it is my son’s first time playing sports and he is only 5!

The head coach is outstanding! He is genuinely enthusiastic, encouraging, and clearly passionate about working with kids. The rest of the coaches clearly love what they do as well. While the location isn’t ideal for us distance-wise, we’ve truly been enjoying our time at Palmer Middle School.

I did not think I would like the format, but it’s great for the boys to be able to learn skills that are reinforced quickly through game pressure.

The location of the field is very convenient. The coaches are encouraging and give frequent water breaks. The kids are getting a small amount of exercise. We are leaving the house weekly as a family.
