The location, different program options and meeting new friends!
The simplicity. The practice and game structure. The open forum for kids to learn and share. No hidden agenda, no hidden fees. Huge fan.
Soccer is enjoyable for my kids and gives them exercise!
Coaches are awesome, schedule and season is good.
Our coaches are great!! Teaching the kids the sport as well as good sportsmanship. The experience has been a very positive one for my child and we are grateful for the program.
We like that it is a low level commitment when it comes to time. The set up for baseball is way better now at Mary Young. The first game was soo hectic. Nice to have a little more room to spread out now.
Easy, low commitment
Great coaches, positive atmosphere, equal playing time
Helpful for intro of sports and team basics for young children
Good organization and communication
Structure, competition level, communication, options
The program is very organized, for players and coaches alike. We love the emphasis on fun and learning the game. Location is great too.
Convenience of practice and games.
We really love how I9 teaches kids sportsmanship and how to be team players without being extremely competitive. They promote having fun and teach kids how to be a part of a team! I9 has been a part of our family for years and we truly love the program!
It is very youth friendly. The staff have a lot of patience’s and work well with the children.
Our experience w the 3-4 yr old baseball has been great. Good location at Makiki district park. Coaches are good. It’s low key but also fun.
Easy access and the schedule is great
Games and practices at the same time. Friendly staff
I like that they are good, entry level exposure for smaller kids, without doing a full on season of a sport we may or may not enjoy. I like the app and the simplicity of the schedule and reminders
Aloha,
This program gives the youth a chance to gain valuable skills at a beginner level. This helps to build confidence to perform in front of a group of peers and adults. The I9 program gives some a platform to learn individual skills and team skills.
I myself would like to break up the program into two groups, a fun group and a competitive group for the seniors. There are kids who like to compete and some who like to just be part of team to have fun.
Having a separate division will help to ease the burden of wanting to have fun and wanting to be competitive. I have notice that some teams want to be compete and some other teams just aren’t ready to compete. I think this maybe more attractive to the youth looking to compete, but not wanting to pay the fees that is associated with the competitive club scene.
I am coaching two teams this season and I would like to hold I9 clinics for the kids that would like to build their skills and be more competitive with Volleyball. I hold practices for my teams outside of game day as it hard to teach the youth the skills needed in 40 minutes.
My daughter was a product of I9 and recently aged out. Now I have her in a club team and she’s being competitive. I9 gave her the confidence to perform on the big stage in multiple tournaments. My daughter now helps to coach and build the youth within the I9 league. I have found that the youth learn better peer to peer than adult to peer.

I like how parents are involved in the program and the community and the positivity that is created by the coaches
I like how everything is situated. Makes it easy for players and coaches. I would love it if Spring flag football would be a little longer to enjoy the nice weather and football. Especially as I’ve noticed, the league(at least pre -k) may have grow to more teams this yr!
As my son is still very young and getting to know the sports he played. I like how the practice and games are on the same day. As a coach for my sons tball team, I really like how their is practice plans to follow. I am 4 seasons in as a coach. When I first started, the practice plans helped a lot as the only time I played baseball was. In 3rd grade. I also, appreciate the quickness in responses when asking a questions for the i9 staff whether through email, phone or in person.
Great learning environment for beginners
Steve in Lake Oswego Or is very attentive and organized. Super nice and fixed our belt issue right away. He took care of our teams needs really well. This is our third year with I9.
The coach is amazing and my son loves playing with his team! Everyone is super nice, caring and patience.
Like that it teaches fundamentals to kids who are still in learning phases of various sports
Very organized league, great coach.

We like the real grass. It's nice to have a referee during the game time. I9 sports is different here in Colorado than Florida. Good coaches.
