Customer Testimonials
It's super accessible to kids learning sports and I like the focus on friendly competition instead of a win-at-all-costs approach.
Coaches are amazing!
We have a wonderful coach that is so engaging and encouraging to the team. He also shows incredible sportsmanship to the other teams as well which is a great example to our team.
The timing works for our busy schedule.
One day per week. Local.
My son is 4 years old and the i9 program provided a safe a fun 1st season of basketball for us! I appreciate that that the skill level varies amongst all the children in the younger teams allowing for my son to learn the fun of the game while simultaneously exposing him to competitive play. As a family, we look forward to growing with this program!
I am highly impressed with Emily's program management. Her meticulous approach to player assessment, including identifying individual strengths and areas for development, and subsequent team assignments, is amazing. Our sports organization Im part of in Lake Stevens is nothing like your guys's program and struggles in so many way , our teams are off balanced and most of the time one will cream the other team by like 24 to 2 points. The I-9 team's commitment to coach development and support to its players is exceptional. The comprehensive support provided by Emily and Mike is truly impressive and contributes significantly to their effective leadership. I was so impressed when I watched the volleyball games on Saturday , The way that Emily and Mike work with the kids is and coaches is really awesome :) I was very impressed. Thanks Jen
Well organized, communicative, great coaches, competitive spirit.
Sportsmanship, including everyone
Easy to sign up, communicate with my kids team and coaches, access information, and get updates about programs.
That it’s all on one day a week.
Everything. Organized, only 1 day a week
Organized and efficient
That it is not super competitive and helps foster relationships and social skills
It’s very structured. Everyone is very nice. And even though my daughter’s team is losing, she is learning so much more about life that will help her in the long run. Appreciate the supportive environment the program brings to my daughter and the community.
The Saturday time slot that doesn’t interfere with school. The inclusive nature of giving everyone a chance to play. 5 min drive from our house. Teaming up with other local kids who live near us
Easy to register, accommodating, good communication.
I appreciate the supportive nature of i9 programs. The parent pledge and growth mindset is important to us.
I like the inclusiveness and varied experience levels of the players. I appreciate that the program is in my community and I don't have to drive all over. I value the coaches.
The coaches and volunteers are the best!
The way coach teach the kids
The values that they teach and good communication between us and i9 staff
An atmosphere we’re it’s not highly competitive.
Structured and fairly organized. I like the set weeks and that most of our games in one area.
It's pretty organized
Good environment, focused on the kids having fun.
2 improvement points:
1) we’ve only had 3 games so the sample size is small, but only one game has had a competent ref. Maybe more referee training.
2) as a coach in the 6 and under group, it’s a struggle having 4 year olds in the mix. It’s a big difference in ability and focus level between a 4 year old and a 6.5 year old, and in trying to make it a fun and positive experience for every child, I’m limited in the advanced skill training that the older kids could benefit from because of the younger players.
Great coaches and very inclusive
I enjoy the connections and the confidence the program instills in every teammate
Great introduction into sports for the kids

Playing soccer helps kids stay healthy, build confidence, and learn teamwork. It also teaches discipline, communication, and problem-solving skills while allowing children to make friends and have fun.
