It is geared towards positive sportsmanship instead of negative competition. The coaches are provided with opportunities to showcase the players strengths each week by giving players a medal that demonstrates their efforts.

Love my son's coach! Have been playing with Coach Borman for a few seasons and we love how patient he is with our son! He is kind, fair and very instructional (with on and off court topics). We hope to stay playing with him for a long time!
Love the easy scheduling and that practice is right before game.
This is our first season with i9 and we've been impressed by the program. We have especially appreciated the refs explaining to our new to basketball first graders why the whistle is being blown. They're learning so much from the short instructions and information the ref will give them and that has not been the case in all sports we've played in other leagues.
Still early, but everything has been fun for the kids and their families.

i9 has, for multiple seasons, been a perfect fit for my child’s skill level and convenient for our schedule. We greatly enjoy the program.
So far everything has been awesome! The coach is super positive, and love that practice is right before a short game.
The coaches are amazing, and the schedule for practices and games is extremely convenient!

Love the focus on developmentally appropriate skills and sportsmanship without an overly competitive atmosphere. Also appreciate the expectations for the adult spectators. Also love that practices and games are back to back on the same day. It makes managing sports for multiple kids so much easier. The affordability is also very helpful with multiple kids!
It's a great starting point for organized sports. My kids learned that it takes hard work and it's not as easy as it looks on TV. They appreciated the process to get better. They can't wait to started their next sport.
