Love the Y. Love the teachers (Jolene and Sara Auman), variety and times of classes. Love the patrons—young, old, in shape, out of shape, white, and black. A welcoming place for all.

What is there is really pathetic for how wonderful she was and how tragic her death was.
New vending machine without a sign that says you'll lose your money. There is no way any of the other Y's would tolerate that? I've had a note in my phone to contact Pepsi myself. That is unacceptable and suggests that the people of the Central Y do not deserve a working vending machine—this machine has been broken for years now?
Keep up the great work you do—simply incredible experience for me. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

The Men's and Women's Health Clubs at the Central Branch are the only ones available at any Y in Fort Wayne. It's the main reason I go to the Central Branch. It's definitely worth the extra fee.

The cardio dance class was so much fun upbeat and was really fun. The instructor did a get job making it easy for my preteen to dance with me.
Told the front desk and they said the would look into it: “The handrails coming down from the main track the paint is all off when handling your hands get rusty.”
I really enjoy Dora’s 10:00 AM water Zumba class.
Is fun and helps with flexibility for my rheumatoid arthritis.

My daughter took a first aid/ cpr class with Stephanie and we were both super impressed and thankful for Stephanie’s support and teaching style. My daughter has dyslexia so was very nervous about taking a class with a written test in a setting like this but she passed! She said Stephanie helped her by reading the test questions. After a while the words look like they are moving to my daughter’s eyes so this was a huge help. Thank you!

The Central Branch YMCA is smaller than the newer branches, but this branch by far as the best Silver Sneakers Class and Yoga in town. The Silver Sneakers Classes on Wednesday and Friday are the most fun I have ever taken! Staff and instructors are friendly and the other participants are also welcoming. It is perfectly located with a big overflow parking across the street. This facility has been a true blessing to me.
