The relaxed vibe is a pleasant respite from the hectic downtown outside the gym. While being in the heart of the city, it still manages to be less busy than other, more rural branches - or at least feels less busy, which is great when you exercise as a form of relaxation.
The space is always clean, bright, comfortable. Staff is friendly, responsive, and helpful. They always seem ready to go when that extra mile and are open to suggestions.
Class offerings are good.

The pool is awesome! The temperature is just right. There are a variety of water classes, including aqua aerobics and aqua Zumba!

Hi Central Branch Team! While I know there are things that need fixing at Central, I love and continue to love the sense of community I feel each time I walk into the branch. I don't know the names of anyone there, but I go enough that I recognize people and I have never once NOT felt welcomed or like I don't belong. I go to another branch for the 24 hour option and go when there isn't staff around. Even though the facilities are nice, it feels like just another workout place, not like Central.

Aqua Variety classes have made a HUGE IMPACT! Kate is kind and thoughtful and makes class accessible while also making it challenging and keeping things fresh.
