The customer service has been spotty since we moved home about five years ago. We ran out of gas at least two times and had to call when we needed a refill. I hope it gets to us in time. We are on the monthly payment plan and have no problems with that. On the last visit, the driver politely stated we were at 10% and would like to fill the tank. We did and will continue using Freeman, but I have also contacted a competitor who will gladly step in should service deteriorate. The last visit is our expectation and should not be an exception.

My service has always run smoothly. Never had any issues. When I thought I might have a leak, someone came out right away and verified it. Then I was given a credit for gas lost as a result of the leak.

The employees at the Freeman Gas location in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. Office staff and delivery workers have always been very helpful and have taken good care of us. We have done business with them for a number of years and can highly recommend them.
Deliver to the gas has scheduled for when requested.
A couple of times in the past delivery drivers have been rough with the access by unnecessarily cutting plants out of their way. In line that was a few years ago. Been with you a long time.

Yesterday, 2/6 I went in and "Hailey" at the front desk was so helpful. She didn't know the answer to a couple of questions that I had, but went in the back and asked . She gave me a very helpful explanation and was very kind.

I started with Freeman Gas in 1993. I was away for years being in the mission field. As soon as I came back I started using Freeman again. The staff is excellent, and overall their services and product are the best. However, decisions and policies of the new owners of the company are not customer friendly at all. For instance, I had a tankless water heater installed August 2023 using the standard track line installation for our area. It meets all standard codes in South Carolina. I recently had a leak which the Freeman Tech person repaired quickly. Four days later I had another leak, yet when he returned to repair that leak he advised that the track line did not meet the new owner policy and proceeded to disconnect my gas line. He said the track line had to be inserted in PVC pipe and grounded or replaced by black iron pipe. The replacement is at my expense. So I was left with no hot water. All the Freeman staff tried to help but the new owner policy tied their hands. The next day they agreed to sell me my tank which allowed me to have my plumber reconnect the water heater at my expense. The only problem is that they did not tell me up front that I could buy the tank. Probably because of the new company policy. Again, overall the Freeman staff are all excellent. I tried to contact Superior Plus Propane to learn it is almost impossible. I really feel they do not want small users as customers because their policy structure ties the hands of Freeman staff. They will not fill my tank if I use track line installation so if I do so I will have to find a new propane supplier, which I know several local ones who will fill it. I have changed my supplier.
