Thank you Southeast Raleigh YMCA for offering top notch youth basketball programming. For both the younger and older age groups, the program was well organized, the competition was great, and the coaches were supportive while also holding the players accountable. This is what makes them better.
For the older age group, Anthony Simmons curated an experience that the city should be proud of. The summer session allowed some of the top high school players to compete and showcase their elite talent amongst their peer group in a safe, challenging, competitive, family friendly environment. It was memorable, down to the last shot of the championship game. I know my kids are in the right place when they are at Southeast.
I really enjoyed the development and learning aspect of the YMCA sports experience. I appreciated how the coaches would take the time to stop during the game, teach the players, and explain what they could do differently to improve. It created a positive basketball environment that focused not only on competing, but also on learning, building confidence, and developing skills. I truly appreciate the time, patience, and effort of the coaches and everyone who helped make the summer league such a positive and successful experience for the kids.

I love that there are Tai Chi classes here! We do Yang style and classes are geared for both beginners and people with some experience.
I just started with personal training for the first time in several years. My personal trainer is pretty new but works hard and I am learning a lot from her.
The staff is responsive and friendly.
It’s a clean, well-run place. I like the fact that there’s a school there, shaping young lives.
The space and the staff are inviting. I especially enjoy the outdoor pool and its fitness classes.
Good sense of community and variety of classes
I loved everything about the Southeast Raleigh YMCA Day Camp experience, especially the Camp K and CILT programs. The staff were welcoming, supportive, and engaged with the kids. The activities were fun, well organized, and gave them opportunities to learn, build confidence, make friends, and enjoy their summer. Communication was strong, and I felt comfortable knowing they were in a positive and safe environment. Both programs provided an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend Southeast Raleigh YMCA Day Camp to other families.

I go to this y because it is close to my work but it is not my preferred y. I usually go on my lunch break and walk the track since it is hot outside and the track is small so you have to do 15 laps. I have not used any of the other parts of the gym
Quality of caring by the counselors. The virtue beads were a great incentive. Sorry it got discontinued in Katrina’s clasd

This year was my boys first time attending a summer camp program and they loved every minute of it from swimming to basketball to seeing the counselors in costumes on Fridays to making new friends the beaded necklaces they made during the summer it was a overall great experience for them thank y'all so much for the opportunity for them to come and enjoy their summer with the ymca summer camp

Our 3 children had an amazing experience at the Southeast Raleigh YMCA Day Camp this summer! They looked forward to going every day and came home excited to share their adventures. They especially loved swimming at the pool, participating in sports, and going on fun field trips. The free lunches and snacks were a great benefit and were always appreciated.
The counselors were caring, friendly, and engaging, helping create a safe and welcoming environment for all the kids. One of the best parts of camp was the opportunity to interact with other children, make new friends, and build confidence through a variety of activities.
Overall, the camp provided a fun, active, and enriching summer experience. We're very grateful to the staff for their hard work and dedication, and we'd highly recommend the Southeast Raleigh YMCA Day Camp to other families!
I love the Southeast Raleigh YMCA. The staff is wonderful. The outdoor pool is fantastic. And the variety of workout equipment and classes is impressive.
I enjoy aqua fit classes, the staff is pleasant and the facilities are great.
Parking is easy. The music as I walk to the front door is uplifting. Chushenna’s yoga classes are my favorite way to wring all the stress from my body. The movement, music and her guiding us to trust ourselves is powerful.
