The class instructors have all been knowledgeable and friendly. They offer support without judgement. Also, I owe Kid Zone a lot for watching my child so I can have some time to focus on my health.
Excellent outdoor swimming pool for lap swimmers, open early enough to get to before starting work at 8AM. The indoor showers are clean, large, and they have a ledge for my shampoo (unlike the Southeast Raleigh Y). I do believe the Y should not promote left-leaning "news" -- the sign inside the women's locker room states in bold and underlined "Please do not change the channel" as CBS blares on TV. My hope is that some show like HGTV or the weather channel is what is meant to be playing rather than a biased "news" source.
Great facilities, friendly staff.
All the staff is friendly and helpful.
Clean facilities and friendly staff.
Excellent instructors and staff.
Friendly atmosphere - great caring staff that go the extra mile
Do you have water arobics?
Friendliness of staff; timeliness and quality of classes; accessibility of equipment.
The broad range of exercise opportunity
The people and being part of a community. I see the same people in class and ai enjoy that. I like being able to reserve my spot in an exercise class so I know my place is guaranteed and I don't have to arrive 20 min early to get a spot. Staff is so nice. Everything is very clean and well maintained
Overall excellent program.
The kids love their counselors and all the activities they get to do each day.
The amount of physical activities the kids do and the support they receive from the staff.
It is a community! That’s what I like most about the Y. I feel like I’m home every time I walk through the door.
Great selection of machines and weights, clean, and the staff are very friendly.
I love how active my daughter is at camp and how the camp promotes healthy habits for the kids. She is very complementary of the counselors and how nice they are. She has attended other camps and had a few negatives about their maturity level. This is our second year attending and will likely be back next year.
Kids loved it. Counselors were very kind.
I really enjoy the classes and the instructors are great as well. I enjoy being able to shower after a good workout and having access to the sauna. The facility was great is in a great location too.
I’m new here but I have felt welcome from day 1
I am loving having outdoor water classes every weekday morning
Very welcoming. Has the fitness equipment and classes I need. Overall, a great facility, although an indoor pool would be nice. (The outdoor pools are great.) I hope to make considerable use of the Y. The guest pass ($20) for my wife was a bit pricey for a few hours in the pool with our visiting granddaughter, 8 ($10), but she'll be joining in January when she has the same Medicare Advantage plan as I do.
Variety of classes and well educated instructors.
I like the structure. Your counselors are well trained and I feel secure with my children attending..I always post great things on social media about the Poole Y camps :)
My daughter enjoyed the camp
The people and classes.
I like that they go swimming, do crafts, dance and they keep the kids busy and moving all day.
Love our awesome counselors! Honestly everything about it.
Kids love it. The kids are also familiar with the Y and the family atmosphere.
The tour sealed the deal. It was nice to be able to see the campus and hear about what all they offer and the outreach they provide. It was easy to sign up online and then obtain cards in person.
