From the front desk to the trainers, all are welcoming and very helpful. The gym is always clean and well organized. The locker room is always stocked with needed soaps, and is also very well kept.
I love the classes that foster both healthy activity & fellowship. The participants become like family. I love the trainers & how much they truly care about each individual.

The classes I want when I want them although I did not like the format change in garner Monday 10:35. The 30 second intervals weren’t effective for me. I enjoyed the prior classes more
Great staff. Exceptionally great classes for all ages. Indoors Pickleball courts and walking track. Pool in the summer.
The 10 rating is for the Poole Family YMCA branch in particular, as it is a nice and convenient branch that is always very clean and prepared and the staff is attentive and courteous when needed.
We have recently added personal training services and are very happy with trainer Rachel.
We do have feedback for YMCA of the Triangle.
Since joining just a few years ago whenever the branch opened, our monthly membership fee has increased by about 55-60%.
This seems excessive, as we have not seen many noticeable changes in offerings.
Replacing equipment should be an expected operating cost when any fitness center goes into business.
We are not sure how many more price increases we will take before looking elsewhere.
One thing that has not been updated is the computer/record keeping system your employees use.
But again, the Poole staff is always attentive and courteous as they work through that challenge.
Their job could be made much easier.
Overall, we think the Poole branch does a great job but the YMCA has some things to address.
