The location is amazing,with lots of options to stay fit and exercise.The hours are flexible and accommodating,with racquet ball courts and also basketball and pickleball courts.The gym has many treadmills and many options.

I think the instructors and variety of workouts are great! I really enjoy Cuqui, Lori and Heather to name a few. I'm always able to find parking; the facility is clean and the front desk is welcoming.
It's a friendly uplifting environment and people were really willing to help me as I started my strength training journey.
Pickleball. Just wish we could have it on Wednesday morning or Friday morning also.

Kerr YMCA is a very friendly place. I love swimming in the indoor pool and playing racquetball. The newly renovated courts are great. We moved to Raleigh from New York two years ago. I've found it is difficult to meet my neighbors where I live but easy to meet other guys on the courts and in the locker room at Kerr. I also tried the Finley YMCA but the guys there are less friendly and mainly focused on getting their workout done and going home, rather than meeting other members. I found that I can build friendships with the Kerr guys with a few short conversations over time.
