It's like "cheers" the staff & members are friendly and eager to assist individuals. Equipment and facilities are clean, modern and well maintained. Programs are created and taught by knowledge instructors with goal achievement in mind.
We have been going to YMCA Kerr Day Camp for three years now, and we/our daughter absolutely love it. She’s always excited to go to camp, she loves the counselors, and we really enjoy the updates/pictures via the Facebook group. You can tell the staff take their jobs seriously, genuinely care for the campers, and my daughter feels safe at camp! Kate/Brandon/the whole staff- thank you for everything!

Generally happy with Y. I do think you close too early on weekends / I would sty open until at least 6 pm on Saturdays and Sundays
Kerr YMCA has a great pool, weight room and great racquetball courts!

Excellent classes and instructors.
My Kindergarten child asked one of the counselors for help to open her water bottle and the answer was no because she is supposed to be able to do it on her own. As she is learning and sometimes even these water bottles are hard to open even for adults I believe this should be considered. Also, with the heat of the summer child dehydration is a risk.
Please be mindful that if a child asks for help is because they need it and they're still learning and developing.
Very friendly counsellors. Enough activities to keep kids stimulated and have fun.. My son loves coming here for summer.
