Good classes and good facility. The weight room could use some upgrades but it is adequate.
The YMCA has up-to-date exercise equipment and a wonderful indoor track. These are what we use most ... but there are many other choices to meet different needs. The location is convenient to our home, and offers the hours that we choose to exercise. The staff is always helpful and friendly. And the cost is reasonable.

I love the yoga and pilates classes.
I’m SO HAPPY we have gotten a membership at the Y I highly recommend to anyone and everyone young or old! The staff is so sweet everyone from the front desk to the childcare staff !

I came to Kerr Banks YMCA 3 months post foot surgery to use the pool for rehab. EVERYONE was SO VERY nice and helpful. All the way to the front desk folks to the instructors teaching the water classes. I joined on Leap Day - yay! and I got my partner to join the next day.

Everyone is so friendly and encouraging
I play raquetball and pickleball at the Y. There are almost always raquetball courts available to play. Pickleball space is tight with some waiting but not as bad as the Finley Y. I would like more times to play pickleball but I realize that in the gym we are competing with many other activities. Also, the people behind the desk are always friendly and personable.

ymca is one of the lovely places I go every day for 20 years and I have a lot of fun and keep myself healthy, especially Banks D. Kerr Family where I have friends and a healthy community, good staff and social friends. And I live in a peaceful atmosphere
