My Wife and I have been members since it was build and we find the proximity to our neighborhood to be a key aspect for all to enjoy. The fitness classes and personal trainers are exceptional and always willing to help you find ways to stay in shape.
The facility is in good condition for its age and always clean. The recent updates to the weight room are a huge plus.
We are luck to have them part of the Wakefield community.

Our daughter loves going to camp and being with her friends. She has a best friend at camp and always is excited to see her. She loves swimming and all the fun activities.

The facilities are great, there are plenty of opportunities to take a wide variety of classes, and the staff are always incredibly nice and helpful. The facilities are clean and nice.
Many programs to choose from.
Suggestion: there are more parking spots for parents with children than handicapped- not good. Plus, parents abuse it and have older kids with them. Should convert some of those to handicapped.

I have loved my experience at the Kerr YMCA.
I greatly enjoy taking the group fitness classes. The instructors have wonderful expertise and very knowledgeable. They make each class dynamic and motivating workout. I have loved the growing sense of community within the classes.
Process was fast and efficient. Very pleased with Laurie. Facility still looks great, we had joined 20+ years ago, then dropped when the kids moved away, now time for us to get back into it.
I love the people who work there, who work out there, and create such a friendly and open vibe.

My son is really enjoying his time in camp as a rising 5th grader. He enjoys the extra program and getting to do multiple field trips to local museums and science centers as a part of that program. Thanks for the great experience!

Caring staff, nice facility and fun activities.
All of the camp staff have been very friendly and helpful. As a parent of a rising kindergartener, it means a lot that my kid comes home happy and telling me that he had fun. That's all that matters.

Enjoyed the experience at after school, the talent of staff is truly amazing. The artists abilities such as drawing, painting duckling pictures with my son really rocks. Lol

Family atmosphere is great, staff very friendly and knowledgeable on the equipment at the Y. Cardio machines are all new with great expectations on all the weight machines expected this fall. I am very happy with the sauna,

I love the Y! The people are friendly. Instructors are great! It’s clean. Toddler care is excellent.
My only complaint is the pride display. I feel that it is extremely inappropriate for a Christian organization. I find it offensive. I think it is a political statement that doesn’t have any business at the Y.
Variety of activities available for families.
The Kerr Family Y as changed since I have a member since 2012, and today, I care about the way the elderly has been treated regarding water fitness. First we are cut short 10 min 9-9:50am, now that we are in in the outside pool and the time is cut 15min 8-845 . However the price for membership had not decreased!
I have basically lost interest in water fitness because by time i get there its time to get out to let the higher paying swimmers come in. Another issue is the teenage lifeguards are more interested in the teenage girls that wear their swimming suit with buttocks showing, breast hanging out, vagina is clearing seen, and this is suppose to be a Christian community. Granted, some of the female guards do wear their suits with virtue.
