The Downtown Y is an all inclusive facility. It has basketball, yoga, light and heavy equipment, swimming, etc but as important if not most important is the people ,from the staff to the “regular people “ who come to the gym and make others feel welcomed.

MY USE OF THE DOWNTOWN Y HAS BEEN PRIMARILY FOR SPINNING CLASSES, AT LEAST 3 EVERY WEEK!
I've been a member of the YMCA since the 70s! I love the genuine care that I receive each time I go to workout. I'm always greeted with a smile. If I need anything, they get it for me. The facility is always clean. I feel like I am a valued family member. They know my name and my favorite locker number.

I visit the Y several times a week and take advantage of almost everything they have to offer.
I am a former Olympian athlete ( track and field) and after been at the Y I decided to learn new things like Swimming freestyle. Started as a motivation for my children, now I am able to swim 1500mts thank to the wonderful staff.
My children love it so do I
I actually only ever go to the ATC branch, which I love because it's convenient and peaceful and has what I need.
