Staff is friendly. Nice facilities. Clean. Most diverse place I go in terms of race, age, etc
The instructors are very helpful and challenging. I committed to a couple classes last year and I can see improvement. Also the staff are super friendly and make me smile every visit.
Lovely environment and awesome people.
One feedback. It seems there is always two or three people behind the front desk. But very very few. Do I see anyone from the staff walking the floor.
There’s one situation that I think needs help. That is there are a few members who are really inconsiderate about their weightlifting. One there’s a number of them who just banged their weights all the time and it’s really not our environment for that. Two the same people tend to leave their heavy weights on the various racks and machine machines. That means other members have to come around and remove their heavy weights and then reset themselves.
It I think to everyone, if someone from the staff was constantly kind of flowing through seeing what’s going on, keep an eye on things and looking out for that type of behavior.
Great staff and facilities. The membership is tops.
It's a family friendly place the staff is very helpful and the instructors are good.i feel at peace when I'm there.
Everything is always clean and organized. And the staff is really kind and welcoming. It's a happy place.
The Y is a welcoming place that encourages and supports all levels of fitness for community members. Great facilities, friendly and knowledgeable staff, wide array of classes. All done well.
I like the other folks I workout with. The availability of equipment is great too. However, there are two issues. We've over extended membership to where peak times are the worst in the triangle area and the worst it's been in 10 years. At some point you have to shut down memberships or at least only offer non peak times. Furthermore, the parking situation is horrendous. I'm hopeful the "addition" of parking spaces helps but I'm not optimistic. Spending the money to create the kid center imo was not the proper use of funds and we should have bought back the lot across Hillsborough or looked to add even more spaces.
Good classes. People are friendly.
I like the classes offered (especially barre, yin, and aquatics), location of the Y, the indoor track, steam and sauna rooms
Not a fan of:
Old lockers in a modern locker room, size of pickleball courts and the parking situation
Group classes
It's a wonderful long time Raleigh tradition. My Dad was a member of the Y in the 1960's.
It is convenient, always clean, always friendly staff, up to date equipment/ family and community oriented.
Only downside: people hog equipment and are on their phones between sets...sometimes 5-10 minutes.
Everything! I love the classes, the instructors the facilities. Only thing I do not like is the parking situation.
The instructors! Always encouraging.
The staff is incredible and the facilities are very clean. Lots of classes and open gym options.
All of them

Good equipment, friendly staff, nice facility, good location
You did not ask what could be improved (just what I "like")?
Unsolicited suggestions:
Gently request members to follow guidelines, they are posted but often violated. I am not saying throw somebody out, but verbally address the guideline with them.
My observations:
Open toe shoes, no shoes, flip flops, open containers - how does this get by the check in??
People seating on equipment for extended periods (on their phone)
Staff not making eye contact and at least saying "Hello, what is your name"?
The staff not speaking to guidelines violators is not seating well with many conforming members.
Please speak to people as needed (guideline issues or just Hello) and get a better rating.
