It’s a very clean well run place with nice energy. I wish you had yoga more times of the day with a few better teachers and a little bit more diverse kinds of yoga teaching, and that there was a stretch, no shoe policy inside the yoga studios and that they could use hands-on touch to adjust you if you consent and that maybe there was a sound bath or other kinds of things like that. I wish it would’ve had a more spiritual yoga practice. That doesn’t mean it has to work against your Christian doctrine. Just some of them more spiritual elements of yoga could be useful. You could also have a group of meditation class. Otherwise it’s great.

I have been a member of the Alexander YMCA off and on for years and I have always been extremely pleased with the facilities and the staff!.
My only concern is that the "HANDBALL" courts have a plaque stating they are for "raquetball"!!

The YMCA is an exceptional facility. It maintains a pristine environment, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend it.

Great selection of machines, well kept up and really nice people that work there.
The staff is always friendly, the workout space is always clean and top notch and there is always plenty of room and space to complete your workout without feeling overcrowded or rushed.
I like the Matrix cardio machines because they have good entertainment and personal fans. The TVs and music are also helpful. Friendly staff too.

Good place for family with perfect services
Happy to be back - I took a few months off but decided to come back. It was easy to rejoin and they kindly waived my joining fee. I’ve been a member for years and overall it has been extremely positive. I am always impressed by the service I receive at the front desk and the improvements they continue to make to the facilities to serve their members.
I appreciate the wide array of equipment and machines. It enable my family and me to change things up frequently and keep things interesting.

The staff is very friendly and engaging, the facility is fantastic! As an early riser the "Family Swim" hours great, as this is the ONLY location Y in the Triangle with family swim hours before 10 AM! Winter, spring summer and fall!

The staff and members are friendly and helpful. The Y gets crowded at certain times, but the equipment is usually available to share.
Nice racquetball courts.
Convenient. Enough classes at various times and skill levels. The front desk always says hello. Classes aren't too large (yoga) but don't let them get much larger! I like the new shoe cubbies. My classes are covered by insurance. Clean pleasant place.

I like the Y, I have a problem with people who abuse the concept of the shared space and shared equipment with their darn smart phones. Obviously, signage doesn't seem to work. I have had awkward confrontations with members over this issue. Any ideas?
