I enjoy the friendly atmosphere, the willingness to help with any problem. I enjoy the classes, the equipment, and the attempts to get people to stop sitting on the equipment on their phones (even when this doesn't work!). I like the location, the locker room, the trainers. I like Tony, who always has a smile for everyone!

Hello! I've been a member since I was 3 (family membership, via parents). I'm 39 now. Grew up in the Alexander Y, especially the old facility in middle and high school before the renovations. Love the new facility as well! Y'all are doing great work.
One item for consideration - I really liked it when you had to sign-up for a "slot" for the pool for lap swimming. I realize that was a covid necessity, but it really helped create some structure around the ability to access and utilize the pool, which I know is a sensitive topic due to YOTA, free-swim, summer camp, etc.
The facilities are clean, staff is great, and the gym equipment is plentiful and well maintained.

Our whole family enjoys the Alexander Y. We are especially appreciative of the staff in the Childcare room. They are the best.

Alexander did something I’m extremely glad of… stopped piping music over the speaker system!!! Now, we can choose to work out without needing to drown out someone’s choice of music, or pumping our earbud volume UP to extreme level to tune out the Y’s choice of music.

New and improved weight machines since I was last a member, years ago.
My orientation staff person was excellent. He actually helped me to like two weight machines that I thought I hated. He didn’t rush me or act impatient with my numerous questions.
gave me extra ideas for using two machines for an enhanced workout for my back,
and he even got me to use three machines in the back workout room, which I was hesitant to even consider. To top it off, he had a nice sense of humor!

Last time I was a member I was sore that you decreased Pilates classes down to nearly zero.

I'm really enjoying it! The staff is excellent. I am really glad the gym isn't as full as it was in February/March. The classes are great...I am really pleased!
