I love the Y & the folks.
I like the spin classes at 5:30 and 6am. I don’t think we should have four spin classes on Tuesday and none in the morning on Mondays. I like the variety of instructors super early it shouldn’t be the same person every day teaching two back to back classes. I also think $15 is too much for a guest pass and each person should get a free visit. My children showed up on Sat each with a friend and when we said we would pay for it they went and played pickleball at Ogden park because $45 bought all 6 of them dinner at Texas steakhouse which they said was a better use of money and I would have to agree. The biggest y in the country (Armstrong’s home town in Ohio) charges $10 and they have rope climbing, indoor waterpark, gymnastics etc.
Everything.
Great gym, Great childcare, I love it !!
Clean facility, friendly staff and community participation.
The facility is very clean and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Nir is a great place to workout.
Friendly staff and good facilities.
Great facilities! My daughter lives going to the YMCA.
I enjoy the variety of classes and equipment, including pool.
For the most part the Nir YMCA is a good community hub and I enjoy the atmosphere, people, and the abundance of classes such as yoga. I have been going to the Y frequently since 2014 (just before the fire) and got to know many instructors and facility staff very well. While it has changed a lot since Covid (some for the better, some not so good), I am glad the organization is welcoming more people with special needs, as well as younger people who normally go to other gyms, yoga studios, or don't work out. The Y is one of the few places where you can try many activities, learn to swim, exercise, and do community events all with one membership, compared to having a gym membership, yoga studio membership, and a pool. Some improvements include cleaning up the registration system and possibly removing it for some classes or activities that are not at risk of reaching capacity. I would also like slightly longer yoga classes (maybe 55min like it was before Covid). Other than that it is worth the price and I look forward to adding my mom to my membership. Thank you all.
Everything. Great environment, staff, equipment and other things such as 2 pools, the upcoming opening of a spa, etc.
Welcoming. Great age appropriate yoga classes.
Yin and healthy back and bones instructors are awesome.
All the different classes
Friendly staff, clean facilities, multiple activities to fit most peoples interests and abilities.
Variety of classes. Nice facility. Friendly staff.
Great facility and the staff is always very nice.
I love the Monday and Wednesday water aerobics class and the care, style of teaching and attitude of our instructor.
One area of concern for me is the lifeguards who prop the door open and keep the fan(s) on; resulting in lower the temperature of the water. It takes personal motivation to get in the pool in the winter and the water temperature matters to the individual’s who are participating in the class. I appreciate them turning it off when asked do turn ;however, that does nothing to warm the water up.
People are so nice! The facility is clean and everyone is so friendly. I am very happy with everyone there.

Great place

Ymca representative was very attentive to my questions during my re-joining after 10 years away. The building has been totally redone since I remember it and looks very inviting. Looking forward to my first visit,
