This summer was our son’s first experience at Camp Teepee. He thoroughly enjoyed the week and looked forward to going each day. The counselors kept him safe all week yet made the week fun and interesting. He loved all the activities and enjoyed being with some friends.

Make it affordable, especially to seniors. Our age does not preclude us from living healthy active lives
The women's lockers rooms need to be updated.
The vents above the showers are filthy.
The centrifugal suit dryer is in the wrong place. Wet bathing suits are dripped over the floor where hair dryers are being used. It should be with the showers.
We need more showers in the locker room and less toilet stalls.
Communication when the pool is closed is spotty at best. Things happen but there needs to be a way to let people know. For example, when the competitive pool was closed for cleaning recently, the schedule indicated 2 days but then you needed an additional day and people were turned away because that wasn't communicated.
The person sitting at the desk shouldn't be watching videos, movies. Its a job.
The ymca is clean, the staff is pleasant and professional. The pool and the fields used by our children is amazing.
Please add more lane swim time in the evenings. Only one hour on Tues/ Thurs is very limited.

Access to a great swimming pool
My children have attened swimming lessons, before and after school care, summer camp and various other events at the Y. We've been 100% comfortable leaving our children with Y staff and our kids love to be around the Y staff as well.
The friendliness of the staff and the other members
Work-out areas and floors are clean. Workers are friendly. I do wish the inside temperature would be a little colder, but with fall coming I think it will be okay. Keep up the good work.

Soundview Family YMCA is just that - A Family, where the Staff and Members connect
in a "people first " Community type environment. It all starts with the Executive Director Matt who has built something special since taking over the facility a few years ago. His Leadership Team starting with the welcome greeting at the front desk from folks like Sebastian, Michelle, Patty, and Jodi just to name a few - To Stacey's presence in the Front Office keeping things in order - Denise a wonderful Trainer and my personal favorite and a great addition as Health & Wellness Director, Colleen. And last but not least Derek the Facilities Director who keeps the facility immaculate. There's an old proverb that says "it takes a village" and Soundview YMCA has something to offer every member of your Family and that's why I AM and have been a member since its opening back in 1999. The pools and lots of classes to choose from.
The amenities of the facility don't quite match the price point. Improving the fitness center (larger space, more equipment), adding features like racquetball or indoor pickleball courts, and improving the locker rooms would help bridge the gap. Right now it feels like my membership pays for pool access and the privilege of discounted costs for services that still feel a little expensive.
I love the facility and the staff... everyone is great, and I come in multiple times per week.... The membership cost vs the amenities just feels a little out of whack.

I love that the facility is always clean and not over crowded. It is great for the whole family, offers variety of classes and we always feel comfortable there!
Need more swimming classes
When someone has an injury in one of your classes, your first impulse shouldn’t be to make them sign a liability waiver. I’m not “refusing treatment,” you had no treatment to offer! Horrible experience. Kept me away from the gym months past after I had healed. And I still hold a grudge.
And my kid’s age group filled up her swimming level twice in a row so she had to stop swimming. No options, just filled classes. Awful.
The only reason I still go is because you’re the only Pilates around.
