Love the exercise classes that I participate in each week. Great instructors!! Great group of people that attend the classes!
There are so many activities for seniors.
The friendly and informative staff and the facility is well maintained .
Very nice facility. People are very friendly; facility well kept/clean.
Clean, great staff and volunteers! Only negative is the new treadmills, not anywhere as good as original ones.
Good classes
As a senior I am fortunate to have the Y programs available at no cost. The heated pool is a godsend. It allows me to maintain my mobility as I can swim year round.
Incredible service, and very fun, positive experience for kids and adults!

The pool staff/lifeguards are very friendly and professional. From Alexa to Gavin, they always make you feel welcome and call you by name.
Parents night out is great!
Many opportunities for various types of exercises and activities.
The staff is phenomenal!!
I love the incredible support for families. One of the first thing I ask other parents in my neighborhood is “are you guys members of the Y?” Because it’s such an incredible place. We love parents night out so much. It is such a lifesaver.
Great facility great people
The Y is great. One more upright bike is needed I always have to wait for a bike especially during the am.
Good equipment offerings
Very supportive for my child's development with his special needs and great volunteers and patient
Well kept facility, sanitization stations that members actively use, friendly staff, and well informed trainers/instructors.
The members are engaged, active, and inclusive to new comers../ all with physical, emotional, and mental health as a common purpose for membership. Great place to be, and make friends!
There is something for every member of my family. There are strength and agility classes for me, a senior citizen.
There are Zumba classes for my daughter who likes to get down.
There were classes for my grandchildren in basketball when they were coming up.
Now my granddaughter plays for Notre Dame prep because of the experiences she had at the Y.
Shannon and Deb are the backbone of Desert foothills YMCA.
This is a great facility and value with a great staff.
Front desk employees were very helpful setting up my free membership. Plus my little nephew plays basketball so while i'm working out he can practice
My daughter started off with the free lessons sponsored by the Kiwanis four years ago. Considering we just moved here, and lessons can be expensive, it was so wonderful to have the free lessons. Because of this, my daughter loved swimming and she is currently a member of the YWSF Silver Fins Club / Competitive swim team. She loves Coach Colleen and her swim teammates; they view each other as a family. I'm grateful that the YMCA has this competitive swim program as there isn't another swim competitive program nearby that has the same team comradery and a coach who cares about their swimmers.
The staff are open and willing to help, offer suggestions and direct you in the right direction. The Y keeps adding programs and options for seniors. Instructors are great. The Y is the best resource in the area for us.

The staff is wonderful. The facility is very good. Only suggestion: designate more handicapped parking slots. I rarely find empty ones. Maybe designate more during peak hours (8:00-11:00). Those could have signage stating something like... this is designated Handicapped during these hours...
