The staff is incredibly sweet and professional.
While it does get crowded the people are nice and classes are fun. You can get almost any kind of workout there. Good teachers, personal training, beautiful facility, while it’s obvious they pay attention to cleanliness, there are days that need a little more attention. I recommend this ymca to anyone looking for a workout and for socializing.
So much to offer to senior citizens.
Facilities are new, clean and professionally managed. Would highly recommend.

Long lasting friendships
I'm enjoying the silver sneaker class and the E gym machines.
Everything about the Y is great: the staff, the equipment, the classes and especially the instructors. There is so much to the Y then just exercise...it provides a sense of community no matter what age you are.
Group Ex classes, especially Shanon's! I always leave feeling better than when I came in. The venue is pristine and really lovely. The only complaint is that the stretching cage has apparently been moved to the Zumba in the Circuit space and is open to anyone while group X is going on. That is terribly and unnecessarily dangerous. Stepping in front of a large group of mostly elderly folks who are not particularly agile and who are concentrating on the instructor is obviously disruptive and dangerous. I've personally seen several collisions narrowly averted, and if one of the "Group Ex-ers" goes down, it could be catastrophic. Several of my fellow group ex-ers complained about this to the front desk and were told that management has OKed the placement and use of the stretching cage and that it can be accessed at any time--even when cases are going on. Seems like a disaster and a law suit in the offing. This can easily be averted: Move the stretching cage or restrict its use to when classes are not in session. Julia, Danni, and Deana are also excellent instructors--in fact, the Group Ex Program is terrific and why I joined the Y when I moved t Az after visiting several other Group Ex programs in the area.
The Y's got it all. Instructor-led classes in yoga, cardio, dance, aqua fitness, etc., free weights, treadmills, EGYM circuit, basketball and racquetball courts, an olympic sized pool. And it conviently located for Cave Creek and Carerfree.

Instructors, companionship, facility.
It’s always very clean. All of the staff and instructors are very knowledgeable and friendly.
This YMCA is the best I have ever been to. Very well laid out, many machines with instructions. significant space for floor maps and floor exercises. Bathroom facilities and lockers are excellent. Trainers are very good, although I have only used one. Because of this facility I have gain strength and balance again. Just wish the YMCAs in Washington state would model their facilities like Cave Creek.
