White Rock YMCA is more than a gym, it’s a true Community. I have been a member of many gyms and at White Rock I am so impressed by the number of people who hang out and have coffee after exercising, or who call each other to do different activities together outside of the gym. I don’t use the child care but many people have told me their kids enjoy it and that allows them to have some healthy personal time. It’s a warm and welcoming place for everyone!
I have been to LA Fitness gyms that aren’t as nice as the White Rock Y.

I love the diversity (young, medium, old) and the feeling of community. The gym has a lot of the items that I like, I get a good workout. Everyone is very nice, the gym is super clean.
Friendly staff
We have a family membership. I have two boys (pre-teen and teen) who have gone through the orientation process and received their red wrist bands indicating they can be in the gym and use the workout space and the basketball court. I can't tell you how much their confidence has increased from being able to walk into the gym and have a safe space to be independent. The Staff is friendly and welcoming, and I have witnessed them properly address safety concerns with the kids when necessary. As a parent, this is a crucial time in developing trust with your children and when they tell me they are going to the gym I have peace of mind that they are safe. Thank you White Rock YMCA - keep up the great work incorporating the younger generation and helping us parents build strong, smart, kind humans.

I love the White Rock YMCA. From the moment that I enter and receive a friendly greeting at the front desk to the time that I leave to "Have a great afternoon" I feel welcomed. The staff is exceptional. They are friendly and efficient. The trainers and wellness coaches are available to answer questions or provide guidance.
There is plenty of parking; although in the summer it is a bit more crowded, with teens working to stay fit for the fall.
The members are warm and outgoing, for them the YMCA is more than just a place to workout. It's a culture. There are opportunities for volunteering and giving back to the community. There are events designed to help you meet more members with similar interests.
